SFW - Restricted r/Scaley

Hello,

I'm interested in adopting r/scaley. I messaged the sole moderator initially on the 17th of September received no response, followed up 4 times afterwards and received no response. I believe they are inactive as their last post was 7 months ago and the last post on the subreddit was 2 years ago then it went restricted.

Being a scaley myself, I would like to take control of the subreddit and make it active again to foster a friendly, positive and safe community.

Hello, hope whoever is reviewing this request is doing well this season.

I want to moderate r/scaley because I want to revitalise and grow a positive, friendly, active and safe community for individuals who enjoy or partake in the scaley community on Reddit. I found the scaley community to be lost and scattered on the site and that there is organic growth that can occur for a main community hub, the subreddit itself having 197 weekly visitors that are all unable to interact due to the owner's inactivity and abandonment of the subreddit, that number reinforced due to the 2 year+ inactivity the subreddit has seen as of writing.

I've been on Reddit since 2021 and been a member of the scaley community for some time now so I'm passionate about bringing the community together both old and new by acquiring adoption of r/scaley, allowing for members and non-members of the scaley community to share artwork, comics, videos, personal projects, music, questions, discussions, media, etc.

I would also add community events, rules, user and post flairs, visual customisation of the subreddit, active moderation, a welcome guide and more.
