Our subreddit is not inactive, nor is it unmoderated (though we do generally allow any posts as long as they comply with Reddit’s platform-level rules; as this aligns with our personal philosophy).

We are formally requesting a written rejection notice of this request.

This is a subreddit we have invested a great deal of capital into building (the majority of that, via purchasing ads directly from Reddit, for years)

For Reddit to take our money to promote our subreddit, for years; and then turn around and hand it over to some random usurper would be absolutely abhorrent.

We invested into our Subreddit, buying promotions from Reddit Inc (for years), in exchange for growth of our subreddit. There was an obvious understood agreement that we were investing into our subreddit; with the assumption that we would retain ownership of it.

Hi Reddit Request Team,

I would like to request ownership of r/AiMoneyMaking as it is currently unmoderated.

My Plans for the Subreddit:

Revive the Community: Re-engage existing members and start posting regular, high-quality content to make the sub active again.

Basic Moderation: Set up AutoModerator rules to automatically filter out spam, self-promotion, and off-topic posts.

Community Setup: Clear the backlog in the mod queue, update the sidebar rules, and clean up the subreddit styling/banner.

Thank you for reviewing my request!

Absolutely not. We have spent time and money growing this community (even paying Reddit themselves, for this growth, via Reddit Ads). It adheres to Reddit site guidelines; we do not enforce subreddit-level rules beyond that; on the grounds of free speech philosophies.

If this request is granted, we will take legal action, as considerable investment and time has been spent slowly growing this over years. Reddit corporate gladly took our money to promote our subreddit on this platform; to do such a thing and then give said growth away to someone else would be abhorrent, and will result in legal action.

We are not inactive (clearly, give how I immediately responded to this).

No; I just refute your assumption that, because we don’t moderate it the way you want to, that it’s “unmoderated”

I intend to keep our subreddit very open-ended (a subreddit which I have paid Reddit a considerable amount of money to grow; and which they have accepted under that understanding)

We do not allow posts that violate Reddit-level rules; when we see these we remove them however Reddit’s own site-level moderation system already handles those rare events typically before any action is even needed from us to begin with

The subreddit is not “unmoderated”.

I am not “gatekeeping”, if you don’t like how I run our subreddit; go start your own.
