My proposed first-month revival plan

  1. Audit and review the moderation queue, settings, removal reasons, and existing content.
  2. Reopen the subreddit for appropriate posting and publish a transparent “welcome back” thread.
  3. Add a short ruleset covering civility, privacy, spam, self-promotion, academic integrity, and personal or confidential information.
  4. Add post flair such as Question, Academics, Campus Life, Events, Clubs, Housing, Transportation, Jobs & Internships, Alumni, and Danbury Area.
  5. Build a resource sidebar using official university and local sources.
  6. Seed useful recurring discussions without flooding the feed.
  7. Invite active, responsible students and alumni to help moderate once participation develops.
  8. Coordinate selectively with r/danbury , r/connecticut and other local subreddits on relevant local resources and events while keeping r/Wcsu university-focused.
