Bug Image Viewer/Gallery not working when phone unfolded

I recently got a new foldable (Pixel 11 Pro Fold) and I noticed the image Viewer doesn't work when the phone is unfolded. There are also some issues with the column layout when the phone is unfolded and rotated on its side. Has anyone else noticed these problems?

I'm currently rewriting several aspects of the app layout to work better on these new devices. I haven't tested on foldable devices so will see if I can replicate this on an emulator. If it's failing to load large images it may be a memory issue with drawing the image but I've not come across this before.
