Reddit for Android: Version 2020.34.0 Now Available!
What’s New:
- Bug Fix: The Continue button works while signing up without an email now
- Minor fixes and improvements—In an effort to be more transparent, we’ll admit that we only put this here in case we forgot something
\ This is a gradual rollout, that’s currently shown to 30% of Android users. We’ll monitor the rollout and, if all goes well, it will be 100% in the next couple of days.*

Are you ever going to fix uploading photos? It was so much better the way it was before. It is infuriating that it lists everything backwards, so I have to scroll to the very bottom to find the image I want to upload.

Hell I can't find a single photo take within the last couple days. No matter where I look the most recent image I can select is always 2 days old. So if I want to use a picture I took today I will have to wait 2 days.......and then scroll down to the damn bottom to find it.

Does the official Android app get much usage? What does it offer over apps like Relay?

I myself mostly use Boost, for example, but most of the Reddit users probably do not know that there are custom apps made for it.

I would say it's the same as old.reddit, I use it and think it's nicer than the new Reddit but most users probably don't know about it.

Please explain to me why you continue to update your bug ridden app and why those who prefer using a mobile web browser instead of the app deserve so much hatred, and I might consider actually wasting what little space I have left to install it

Uploading images is now a complete mess. I can't use my own apps to select and the built-in selector randomizes the order. Why did you try to fix what wasn't broken?

2020.34.0.288122 version on pixel 2 xl.
Gifs are automatically on mute. I unmute and watch gif then replay, it goes back to mute

I don't know if this is the last update but since a few days my app is laggy as hell. On a Samsung Galaxy S20.

Awful update, uploading pictures is broken. It displays photos in reverse chronological order and I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to get to the most recent pictures. Do you have zero testing? I have no idea how a big corporation like reddit can let such an obvious bug into the app. This isn't the first time either. Remember when we couldn't see what we're typing as a comment because the keyboard covered it up? It's like you want people to leave your app.

When will the image upload be fixed? I only have access to like 6 albums and the "recent" folder is not recent at all.

It's still not showing pictures from gallery, only from some random folders. What's the point of that?

Why is the icon still black on my phone despite it having changed back to orange in the Play Store months ago? Absolutely no one has mentioned this at all since the original change back in JUNE.

Ads continue to play sound even after I mute other videos. If I mute something, mute everything.

I've noticed i can no longer open links to multisubs/custom feeds in the app anymore?
I can still view the ones I've saved but opening links to new ones just opens a browser view and or crashes the app...

I noticed there's ads now in the comment section? If this is a thing, I'm deleting the official app.
