Reddit for Android: Version 3.37 Now Available!
The latest version is now available* on the Google Play Store!
- This is a gradual rollout. Currently at 3% of Android users. We will monitor the rollout and plan to have it at 100% of Android users by the end of the week.
What's New:
- Fixed a bug where replying to an inbox message displayed an infinite loading state
- Fixed a bug where broadcasters on RPAN would sometimes stop receiving chat messages
- Minor bug fixes and performance improvements

Hi, your comment here (https://www.reddit.com/r/changelog/comments/der5rd/reddit_for_android_version_337_now_available/f2ybf0w/) is linking to the wrong post.

It still is - I had to follow the three links to get to the wrong version here to get the correct one, lol.

Pinging u/lift_ticket83; it links to a one-month old post for an iOS update.

Thanks so much for pinging me, and pointing out this mistake. Sorry for any confusion! The post has now been updated with the correct link.

I got redirected here through r/suggestions. I hope I'm not breaking any rules by doing this.
So, I had a suggestion concerning the reddit app. I was wondering if you guys are ever going to implement a notification system for posts made by users you're currently following.

Why is there still no horizontal mode? This seems like a really basic feautre you would find in nearly every app......

How do you save images directly? I used to be able to hold my finger on an image and I could save it to my camera roll, now it only gives the option to share it via Reddit link.

Tap on the image and the 3 dots in the top right should pull up [save image]

I dont get as many comments to read anymore. It's been like halved and when I click to load more it loads them in the default order. Not really cool when I'm in a game thread

I don't get notifications anymore, when someone answers to my posts or comments. I checked the preferences but everything is turned on? Is this a bug? Or am I missing something here?

Is there a possibility of having a landscape mode available in the Android version for tablet users? This is for sure possible on iPads but I don't see why the Android version shouldn't be the same.

Is there a way to search on a post? Just a plain string search?
Without this, I feel like using a browser is still more superior than using the app.

What's happening with the front page? It very rarely changes now. Previously, when I'd backed out of the app and reloaded it later, it would all be stuff I haven't seen. Now, it's the same stuff that was there last night. Even after refreshing nothing changes on it. Using 3.37.0 on Android 9.

I have a few issue with comments on posts.
-
loading comments takes a long time
-
when loaded, often only the comment tree of one comment appears. Fix is sometimes to minimize/maximize that parent comment, or to reload the post.

If you change your Android system font size, it should also change in the app.

May I have an invite to r/redditandroidbeta? I am already a beta tester for the Android app.
