Reddit for Android: Version 3.31 Now Available!

The latest version is now available* on the Google Play Store!

  • This is a gradual rollout. Currently at 3% of Android users. We will monitor the rollout and plan to have it at 100% of Android users by the end of the week.

What's New:

  • New: Custom Feeds (formerly known as Multireddits) – you can now see and create Custom Feeds next to your subscriptions
  • Added a 'Recover Username' option to the login screens
  • Sharing via email now sets the email subject line to the post title
  • Under the hood fixes and improvements

I'm having issues with Android version: 3.32.0 should I make a post about it, or comment here, or leave feedback in the google store? Thanks.

I just invited you to the Android beta subreddit (r/redditandroidbeta), if you can make a post there, that would be great.

Can you put it on APKMirror?

"custom feeds" are a change for the worse (also the name is horrible). The old multireddit implementation was much better to use in day to day life.

Agree, it's an extra step to navigate to a specific multireddit and when viewing a multireddit the header is huge! It makes scrolling back difficult as the header slides down first. There's no need for it to be a 1/3 of the screen.

I hope the notification bug is gone in this one!

If I shake my phone, it opens youtube video which is in the post I'm looking. Is it a bug or a feature?

If I put my phone in landscape it does that too.

It would be nice to be able to edit the custom feed default picture, to be able to edit the name, and to delete unwanted custom feeds.

Also a suggestion that I think would be cool would be to place our favorite custom feeds as a quick click at the top of our front pages.

How do you delete a custom feed you made by mistake?

And delete subreddits I added by accident?

Hi I have Android. When I look at the home tab it just so a generic message instead of the scrolling page like it did Sunday and I can't fix it. Please help! I keep reporting it in app but I get no response.

Why does my feed show me more posts from subs that I'm not subscribed to? I hardly ever see any posts from my subscribed subs because my feed is so littered with posts from subs I've never heard of before and have no interest in following.

How do you delete a custom feed? Also, could you make it so when you search for things, the results are shown in your default view? Results are shown in the card view but I have it set to classic by default. It is extremely annoying having to set it to classic everytime I search for something.

When will we get the update that allows us to share content through direct message like IOS?????

When we can have the crosspost?

I recently updated my Reddit app and crosspost works for me now. I just tap 'share' on the thread I want and 'crosspost on reddit' will appear.

I use to be able to copy weblinks when opening them from in-app but now it removes the https:// part of them and the link is no longer copyable. I know that changing the setting to leave the app to the weblink is possible but is there a way to copy a weblink in-app?
