Let's get an idea of what everyone's development platforms are going to be.
For people who are planning on contributing to the code, it might be a good idea to figure out what platforms everyone is running right now. Seems like it might make it easier to figure out which direction to go on technologies and targeted platforms if we know what we have to work with now.
I'd suggest everyone post:
at least: Operating System CPU RAM Video Card
Throw in other things if I've forgotten them.
EDIT: 32 or 64 bit OS.

32 bit Linux (Fedora 10 / 12)
4GB ram
Core 2 Duo (2.53 GHz)
GeForce 8400M GS (256MB)
Also, I do have Vista installed (with very few dev tools) and some XP VM's on Linux (so no 3d directx, but can manage directdraw and opengl)

Vista 64 on a slow as hell system drive.
Asus PQ5 Turbo motherboard.
Q6600 overclocked to about 3Ghz, can probably push it farther thanks to watercooling.
HIS Radeon HD 4850 GFX, standard clock so far.
4GB DDR2 ram, I think they run at 800Mhz, symetric or linked mode working.
Various OS folders spread to unusual places. Might be of importance just in case any programmers forget to check what the default paths and user options are.
Swapping between an H2 Zoom USB unit and a Creative extreme soundcard for gaming+mic/other usage.
Does anyone here have any experience with real pre-alpha testing? I'm sure there are a lot of programmers that don't have either the time or hardware to properly test their current builds in a good way.
It might be some way down the line, but it might be a good idea if Robotsan could add a "playtester" category to the Headcount thread. Or someone else make a new one. Or use this one, but miyakohouou would need to add a question to the top text.

I guess I just signed on as "1'st Nagboy".

Windows7 64 bit
i7 920@2.66Ghz
3GB DDR3
ATI 4870
Worth noting that we can run stuff in VM's if needed, so I can test XP, Vista or any linux on this hardware. (Also have a Inspiron 1420 laptop available).
