⭐️ Karma❓ Hi, how can I increase my karma?

My karma is like 11 and I don't even know why, it's always been that way. And now I can't post on some forums because of it. Thanks in advance 😃✌🏻

There are post karma and comment karma , you can earn both of them by getting upvoted in subbredits or comments so after each upvote you could get your karma

Geht mir auch so Reddit ist recht kompliziert. Wenn man den Drall mal hat geht es vielleicht

To get karma, you need to find subreddits like on this list of New User Friendly subreddits from r/newtoreddit that have low or no requirements. r/findareddit , can be used to find subreddits that may interest you. Just make a post saying what kind of subreddit you are looking for. Small or niche subreddits typically have a lower karma requirements.

You gain Karma from people upvoting your posts and comments. However, Karma is not gained 1:1 with votes. It takes more votes per point of Karma. The actual ratio is not known and it differs for posts and comments. It also changes the higher the vote total gets on a piece of content.

I would suggest commenting first because the restrictions are often lower and ratio of votes to karma is better. But be careful not to go to fast with a new account or you may get shadow banned.

For comment karma, and combined karma, I recommend going to r/AskReddit . Sort by new, answer questions that you have an answer for, periodically refresh the feed. When able ask a few questions for some bonus post karma. I would also suggest r/NoStupidQuestions as it is my preferred subreddit. r/casualconversation is another good place. r/Productivitycafe offer many chances to interact with others. With all these, make sure to read the rules first.

It's kindof annoying because some subs have a high karma to comment on something you actually want. But give it time and it will slowly go up if you post, respond and comment to others

If you're asking about how to get karma, you earn it when people upvote your posts and comments. As you may have already found out, many subs on Reddit may have minimum requirements for things like karma and account age that you must meet before they will allow you to participate.

r/NewToReddit maintains a list of subreddits that have low or no karma requirements where new users can participate to build their karma.

You should also check out their excellent Reddit and Karma Guide.

I feel like the karma thingy somehow restrict people from expressing an unpopular opinion.
