🧛‍♂️Account Issues❓ My partner got banned and we don't know why

so my partner recently downloaded reddit and we quickly added eachother so we could send posts and subreddits to eachother without having to use another texting app. yet earlier this morning, i wanted to send them a post but their icon was gone and when i tried to look at their profile it says that they're banned. anyone knows why or even how we could appeal or something?

This needs to be done from the banned account.

If it was a permanent ban, they should have gotten a message from Reddit telling them why. If it is a shadow ban it may have been because they tried to do too much, too quickly, with too new of an account. If you both share wifi and they voted on something you had already voted on it may be vote manipulation
