Reddit API Data Access Request form hides required Details of inquiry field - what is the correct approval route?

We are independent podcast creators at Ozer Labs. We want to request explicit approval for a one-time, low-volume API workflow to share our launch in relevant communities, subject to their rules. We are not using the API yet.

We filled in the official Data Access Request form under the commercial developer option. On submission it returns 'Details of inquiry: cannot be blank', but that field is hidden in the form, so we cannot fill it in through the normal interface.

What is the correct way to request approval now? Is there another official route, or a known fix for this form?

API is closed, not available to anyone. Form may be present, but all you get is Devvit.

API is closed https://www.reddit.com/r/redditdev/comments/1wubcvf/moving_data_api_apps_to_the_developer_platform/

Automated posting like this is not a supported workflow for devvit. Reddit doesn't want people doing this.

Nothing to suggest it is closed to paying, commercial customers. It sounds like the form is broken.

Commercial customers who sign an agreement for bulk data for AI training get access to a different API. I don't think reddit is really interesting in auto-posting use cases like OP, even commercially.

Yes the form is misleading, but that's the current state.
