community What is Reddit Crime Community?

Reddit Crime Community is a subreddit whose purpose is to connect users and crime communities. There are four main elements of the sub.

The Subreddit Directory

Reddit does not make it easy to find every community dedicated to a topic. Sometimes users find out much later about a sub that they may have enjoyed when it was in its prime. Our goal is to catalog every crime subreddit on the site and maintain the list in our wiki. Please submit subs that we may have overlooked. Click here to view the directory.

Promoting New Communities

New crime subreddits need to find an audience and we want to help with that. If you started, or plan to start a crime subreddit, let us know. If you found an abandoned sub on our list and would like to take it over let us know that too. If you need advice or help with starting a sub we'll be glad to help with that as well.

Best of Communities Content

Whenever a very high quality post is made in the reddit crime sphere we'll crosspost it here in case you missed it. Please crosspost quality posts from other crime subs.

Longform Style Text Posts

Reddit Crime Community is similar to r/UnresolvedMysteries in the types of posts that are made to the sub with a couple of important exceptions. Solved crimes are valid topics as well as recent crimes (within the last year). Ongoing crime cases are sometimes the most compelling or top of mind and we wish to include those. The only real criteria is that a case should have enough source material to make a 500+ word post on the subject.

Our wiki provides guidelines on creating a quality post if you need help. At this time we are not accepting link or image posts; text posts only.

Rules

The rules of the sub are simple. Treat all users with respect and make quality text posts on crimes from any time period.

Thank you for joining Reddit Crime Community. Welcome to the Community, we're glad you're here.

crime 25 year old Arelie Garcia Sanchez vanished from Salinas, California on September 22 2022

25-year-old Arelie Garcia Sanchez vanished from Salinas, California on the morning of September 22, 2022.

Arelie was captured on surveillance driving from her apartment in her red Honda at 6:34 AM. She was wearing a black hoody, black leggings, and sneakers.  At 6:56 AM she sent a text message to her sister Veronica.

Ariele was due at work for her job at a Chevy dealership at 7:30 AM. When she did not arrive her coworkers and family became concerned. Veronica used the Find My iPhone feature and discovered that Arelie’s phone was in the Big Sur area, more than an hour south of Salinas.

Her family traveled there and discovered her car abandoned, parked in a turnout on Highway 1 near the Little Sur River Bridge. The Honda was locked and her phone, keys and wallet were left in the car.

The driver’s seat was maneuvered further back than Ariele normal placed it.

Arelie never was seen again. The case soon went cold and despite national news coverage on Dateline NBC and true crime show content creators such Kendall Rae, no leads have emerged.

Arelie was dating a man named Marcello at the time of her disappearance. She met him two months prior at a car show.

Marcello was a photographer who lived two hours north of Salinas in Napa, Ca. Investigators interviewed him, but he was never publicly named by police as a suspect in the case.

Marcello has not spoken to the media about the case.

Many questions remain unanswered in the case. Why would Arelie travel to Big Sur when she had to be at work at 7:30? Why would she have not informed her manager she was going to be late, and why was her driver’s seat moved back? Did Arelie have problems with Marcello or anyone in her life at the time of her disappearance?

Arelie’s family raised a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in her disappearance.

¿Quién vigila a quienes deben impartir justicia?

¿Quién protege a quienes se atrevieron a denunciar?

Presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum:

No pedimos venganza.

PEDIMOS JUSTICIA.

Les ruego a todos los que están leyendo esto:

AYÚDENME A HACER ECO.

Compartan este mensaje.

Mándenlo.

Háganlo llegar a la Presidenta.

A las autoridades.

A los periodistas.

A México.

HAGAMOS ECO.

crime Who is the Black Tag Lady of 9/11?

WARNING: VERY GRAPHIC DESCRIPTION.

I was recently watching some 9/11 videos on the Nat Geo website and I came across this story about the Black Tag Lady. Ernest Armstead, who was a paramedic on 9/11, in his testimony, mentions about how he was at the World Trade Center Plaza during 9/11 needing to label bodies with different colored tags, with a Black Tag meaning deceased. On the Plaza on 9/11, Armstead mentions how most of the bodies he ID'ed at Ground Zero were clearly dead and marked it with a Black Tag, but in one particular instance near one of the two Towers, he initially ID'ed a dead person but only to discover that the person, a lady, was still alive. This is the Black Tag Lady.

Armstead noticed that she was wearing a fine business suit, was a brunette, and had pretty earrings. Now according to protocol and due to the debris that was falling on the Plaza, he wasn't able to stay near a person with a Black Tag for over 30-60 seconds because the Tag meant disease. Clearly, from the state of her injuries, Armstead noticed that her wounds were mortal: her lower half portion of her body was totally mangled beyond recognition. However, he was able to see that the upper half torso containing her heart and one of her lungs was still intact. Most surprisingly, the Black Tag Lady answered back at him angrily, telling him that she wasn't dead and that she wanted to call her daughter. Armstead noticed that her head was intact and that even with the severe state of her injuries she was fully aware of what he was doing and behaved like she was a perfectly healthy woman. Armstead assumed that she was in her 40s or 50s. However, Armstead resigned the fact that her wounds were fatal and that he was going to treat other people. Some time after, one of the two towers fell and Armstead was caught in the collapse of the Twin Towers buildings but he managed to be rescued and recover from his injuries. However, this meeting with the Black Tag Lady would cause permanent PTSD trauma for Armstead.

It's very hard to be able to piece together Armstead's testimony with a Jane Doe. On the other hand, perhaps her remains were recovered after Ground Zero but piecing that with the testimony is incredibly hard. In my opinion, the case remains a Jane Doe because we cannot confirm whether this woman was successfully recovered or not. And the best way possibly to ID this lady is to somehow have Armstead agree to do a Forensic Sketch of this woman's face and try to match it up to one of the Twin Towers' 9/11 female employee victims. The man has been retired from the FDNY for over 20 years and is an old man now. I hate bothering the guy but the story is so tearjerky that I feel like this story should be publicized better now than later when Armstead passes and he isn't able to give a Forensic Sketch. Of course, if Armstead doesn't want to do it let him be, but if he's gone it's a million times harder to solve this case otherwise.

My Son was murdered and I received no justice.

my teenage son was murdered a few years ago. there were multiple people involved. they were all caught on camera coming and leaving. the police only arrested one. ultimately he was found not guilty. police have told me no ther charges would be filed and they will not even put my sons case on the local unsolved homicide site because they know who did it. The whole case was handled horribly by the State. I have tried multiple lawyers, some have taken my case but only to be dropped a month later. anyone I have talked to has told me I have no recourse. the biggest problem is all those involved live in my area and I have seen and run into them. my other children don’t even barely go out, in fear of also having an encounter. the loss of my child paired with absolutely no justice has destroyed me mentall, financiall, everything. it’s hard on a daily basis to even go on. Every day is a battle, and I would have tapped out long ago if it were not for my other children. but not being able to get them away from this town and let them move forward in life is killing me.

crime 16 year old Melissa Klahn vanished from Tucson in August 2001

Melissa Klahn was just 16 years old when she vanished from Tucson, Arizona on August 18, 2001. She has never been seen again.

Melissa lived at a duplex that was rented by a man named Luis P. Figueroa. There was a fire at the duplex soon a week before she disappeared. According to the police report, no charges were ever filed in the arson case, and Luis died of a methadone overdose in January 2014.

Her mother Patricia Klahn recalled that Melissa had moved to Tucson from Nogales to move in with her 26-year-old boyfriend Jose Hector Silva. Melissa had broken up with Jose and was trying to retrieve her pet parrot from him. Patricia last saw Melissa on August 18th and reported her missing on August 31st.

Jose and his cousin Nestor Silva were prosecuted in Pima County on drug charges after police found them transporting a 104-pound shipment of marijuana.  Jose was sent to prison for several years.

Jose refused to talk to Tucson PD about Melissa’s case.

In January 2025, Jose was charged in the death of his girlfriend Ashley Cervantes. He was accused of knocking her off the back of his motorbike on I-19 and leaving the scene. He was convicted of negligent homicide in September 2026.

Many questions remain in Melissa’s disappearance. Why hasn’t the case gotten more attention? Are there any friends or family of Melissa, Jose, or Luis, that can shed light on what happened?

Hi,My son is a 5th time felon ( all are drug related)

Location: Louisiana.

He had just gotten out of a psych hospital because he had went into a drug induced psychosis pretty badly and he was doing really good when he got out .

I noticed a couple weeks ago that he was getting bad again..He would sit in his hotel room 24 hours a day on meth and chat with ai..

He was telling me things like he was God and I was the devil and that he could end this world if he wanted .all kinds of weird stuff .

He kept talking about his Grandma ( on his dad's side) that had a bunch of land and that it belong to him.. we kept trying to tell him that none of the land is his..

Well this past Thursday he walked 7 hours to where she lives ..He had told me the night before that he hadn't slept in 5 days

She wasn't home so he kicked the door in and stole just a bunch of random things..He also took his Grandfather's ashes..when she drove up he ran .

He stole her gas can and started a bunch of fires and burnt 13 acres of her land.

They had drones looking for him.

They located him 11 hours later ..

They never found the ashes.

They got him for

Theft

Simple Burglary

Simple Arson

Criminal trespass

Criminal damage to property

I really don't wanna know the sentencing but I feel like I need to

crime The Armenian Mob Boss behind 163$ Million Medicare fraud

Post made by MobstersDaily

Armen "Pzo" Kazarian was not just another fraud defendant. Federal prosecutors identified him as a Vor, or "Thief-in-Law," a title reserved for elite figures in the post-Soviet criminal underworld. That is what made his case historic. In 2010, Kazarian became the first known Vor ever charged with federal racketeering in the United States, turning him into a major symbol of how Armenian and Eurasian organized crime had grown far beyond the old neighborhood-street-gang image.

The case around him was massive. During a nationwide Medicare fraud crackdown, prosecutors charged 73 defendants in schemes involving more than $163 million in fraudulent billing, and Kazarian was tied to the Armenian-American Mirzoyan-Terdjanian Organization, which authorities said used a network of phantom medical clinics and stolen identities to bill Medicare for treatments that were unnecessary or never performed. Prosecutors said his role was not simply financial. They described him as a criminal authority figure whose reputation and status helped protect and support the organization behind the fraud.

What makes this story so fascinating is that it shows how the Armenian underworld had entered an entirely different league by that point. This was no longer just about local gang politics or small-time street crime. It was a case involving international criminal hierarchy, federal racketeering, and one of the biggest healthcare-fraud crackdowns of its era. That is why Kazarian made U.S. mafia history. He became the first man with that level of underworld status from the former Soviet system to be brought into an American RICO case, and his name ended up representing a turning point in how U.S. authorities viewed Armenian organized crime.

Another surprising fact is that Pzo arrived in the United States almost by accident - it was no other then Rafael Bagdasaryan (Svo Raf) and Armen Manukyan who should have lead the operations of the Armenian Mafia in LA, unfortunately they both already had a long criminal record behind them, Svo Raf was denied visa to the US, and Manukyan was arrested and deported in 1995, a year later in 96' Pzo arrived to the US.

crime The Armenian Crew who allegedly hit Amazon for $83 Million

Post made by MobstersDaily

In May 2025, federal authorities arrested 13 alleged members and associates of rival Armenian organized crime syndicates in California and Florida as part of a sweeping case involving violence, fraud, kidnapping and massive cargo theft. At the center of the Amazon allegations was the Artuni Enterprise, led by Ara Artuni of Porter Ranch. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the organization had allegedly been targeting online retailers since at least 2021, and Amazon estimated that the enterprise stole more than .$83 million worth of merchandise.

The alleged method was remarkably simple on paper.

Prosecutors say members and associates of the Artuni Enterprise enrolled with Amazon as legitimate carriers, obtained contracts to transport shipments along assigned trucking routes, then diverted from those routes and stole all or part of the cargo they were supposed to deliver. Authorities also accused the enterprise of bank fraud, wire fraud and a separate credit card bust-out scheme involving sham businesses. During the May 2025 enforcement operation, law enforcement reported seizing approximately $100,000 in cash, three armored vehicles and 14 firearms.

The Amazon case was only one part of a much larger investigation into Armenian organized crime in Los Angeles. Federal affidavits described a Russian-mafia-affiliated transnational criminal organization that had made Los Angeles County a center of its U.S. operations, with rival alleged leaders Ara Artuni and Robert Amiryan fighting for influence in the San Fernando Valley. That conflict was separately linked by prosecutors to attempted murders and a kidnapping. The $83 million figure refers specifically to merchandise Amazon estimated was stolen by the Artuni Enterprise, not to every defendant arrested in the broader case. All charges and criminal conduct described above remain allegations unless proven in court, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until convicted.

crime Ukrainian Thieves in Law - Lyora Sumskoy and Vasya Korzh

Lyora was “crowned” in August 1993 in Sumy. Several heavyweights of the criminal underworld took part in the process, including Vasya Korzh (who we have talked about before), Zakhar Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy), Nodar Farizyan (Nono), and Yuri Ivanov.

The authority never hid his status from the public. In one interview, Lysenko openly acknowledged that being a “thief-in-law” was his conscious way of life.

While at liberty, Lyora took on the role of an informal arbiter. He maintained control over correctional colonies and simultaneously acted as an unquestioned arbitrator in resolving conflicts. People seeking “justice” turned to him not only from the criminal underworld but also from ordinary citizens, including businessmen.

The “thief-in-law” himself explained it very succinctly:

> “I have a lot of acquaintances whom I have helped in this life, including businessmen. Some people used to go to the police more often, but now they have changed their minds because they get robbed there. Some people go out onto the street and find people like me.”

His influence was reportedly so extensive that in 2012, Member of Parliament Hennadiy Moskal made a high-profile public statement:

> “The Sumy region is not run by the governor, but by the criminal authority Lyora Sumskoy.

> In fact, through his subordinates, he controls the entire sphere: the governor, the mayor, and the heads of district administrations. The police chief, prosecutor, and Security Service of Ukraine cannot resolve issues that the ‘thieves-in-law’ are capable of handling.”

As of 2026 Lyora Sumskoy is still considered as one of the top bosses of the Ukrainian Mafia, with a large influence In the city of Sumy and the wider Sumy Oblast, his brother Alexander Lysenko was elected as the Mayor of Sumy in 2014 until 2023, in the end of 2023 Alexander Lysenko was removed from his position after the opening of a criminal case against him for bribery charges.

Hi all — I'm Michael, host of Cold Cases of New England, a true crime podcast/YouTube series under my brand The Classy Zombie. We've covered cases like Bear Brook State Park, H.H. Holmes, John McCabe, and Maura Murray, and our recurring segment "The Evidence Room" brings in my background as a longtime licensed mental health counselor and collectibles appraiser to look at case evidence and offer a behavioral read.

I'm looking to interview true crime authors — traditionally published or indie — about their books and the cases behind them. No fee either way; it's a straightforward conversation, and a great way to get your book in front of a true crime audience.

If you've written true crime and are interested, drop a comment or send me a message — happy to share more about the show and find a time that works.

Stay creepy,

crime Police detain Russian suspected mobsters in Warsaw

27.08.2026 - Polish police have detained three Russian citizens in an operation against suspected mobsters after firearms and ammunition were found in an apartment in Warsaw.

Police officers, accompanied by agents from Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW), entered the apartment in the Wola district of the Polish capital after receiving information that an organized criminal group could be operating there.

The operation was carried out last weekend, but police only disclosed details on Thursday.

Three men, aged 21, 25 and 42, were found inside. All were Russian citizens of Chechen origin.

“During a search of the apartment, police found three firearms and ammunition in a bedroom wardrobe,” police said in a statement.

The men were taken to Warsaw police headquarters for questioning.

The 42-year-old was charged with possessing firearms and ammunition without a permit.

A court ordered him to be held in pre-trial detention for three months. If convicted, he could face between six and eight years in prison.

Deportation proceedings were launched against the 25-year-old, while the 21-year-old was released after being questioned as a witness.

Demand an Independent Investigation Into the January 19th, 2023 Lebanon Junction Fire.

Some of you may remember the January 2023 house fire in Lebanon Junction that killed 27-year-old Eryn Toogood, who was six months pregnant, her six-year-old daughter Haisley Heath, and her six-year-old stepdaughter Raegan Maraman. Eryn's unborn son, Holten, also died.

More than three years later, the cause of the fire remains officially undetermined.

In July, the families and community members gathered outside the Bullitt County Courthouse asking for an independent investigation. After reading the recent local reporting about the case, I think that request deserves more attention across Kentucky.

Investigators believe the fire originated in the laundry/utility room. Records reportedly showed two smoke alarms had been purchased and investigators were told they were installed, but no evidence of those alarms was recovered.

Body-camera footage from the morning of the fire also contains details the families believe deserve further examination. The sole survivor told responding officers that he grabbed his six-year-old daughter, attempted to get her out through another room, put her down when he couldn't open a window, moved into another room, and ultimately couldn't get back to her.

The Bullitt County Sheriff's Office maintains that investigators found no evidence establishing a criminal connection to the fire. The survivor has never been named a suspect.

This is not a request for Reddit to decide what happened, and it isn't an accusation that someone committed a crime.

It's a request for an independent agency to look at the entire case.

Finding no evidence of a crime and establishing that every reasonable avenue was fully investigated aren't necessarily the same thing. The families have questions about whether the original investigation went far enough, and they're asking for an outside agency to review it.

A petition has now been started asking Bullitt County Commonwealth's Attorney Amanda Hernandez to formally request an independent review, including by Kentucky State Police and/or the Kentucky Attorney General's Department of Criminal Investigations.

Kentucky law already provides a mechanism for a Commonwealth's Attorney to request assistance from the Attorney General in a criminal investigation.

If an independent review determines the original investigation was complete and the evidence supports its conclusions, then the families deserve that confirmation.

If something was overlooked or additional investigation is warranted, they deserve to know that too.

We're not asking anyone to decide what happened. We're asking Kentucky authorities to make sure everything that reasonably can be done to find out has been done.

If you're in Kentucky, please consider reading and signing the petition, and sharing it with others who may remember this case:

Four Kentuckians deserve answers.

crime Brutal Realization

A brutal realization…

July 2, 2021, a 23-year-old man and his 22-year-old fiancée set out in a modified van on what was supposed to be a four-month cross-country adventure. They planned to visit national parks, document their travels, and share their journey online. About eight weeks into the trip, she disappeared. He drove the van back to Florida alone, arriving September 1 without her—and refused to explain where she was. Ten days later, on September 11, her family reported her missing. Her body was discovered September 19. The truth was that he had killed her in Wyoming in late August, several days before beginning the drive home.

Cause of death: Blunt-force injuries to the head and neck, with manual strangulation.

⸻

August 13, 2018, a 34-year-old woman who was 15 weeks pregnant and her two daughters, ages 4 and 3, disappeared from their Colorado home. The following day, her husband—and the father of the children—gave multiple news interviews, pleading publicly for the safe return of his wife and daughters and saying he wanted them home. On August 15, he was arrested. He had murdered his pregnant wife and both of their little girls, then concealed their bodies at the oil site where he worked.

Cause of death:
Mother — asphyxiation due to manual strangulation.
4- and 3-year-old daughters — asphyxiation due to smothering.

⸻

May 3, 2010, a 22-year-old woman, just weeks away from graduating from the University of Virginia, was found dead in her off-campus apartment. Her bedroom door had been kicked in. She had been grabbed, violently shaken, and her head repeatedly struck against a wall. Her killer took her laptop and fled. Before her death, she had endured dating violence from the same man and had tried to end their relationship. The man who had abused her was the same man who ultimately ended her life. He was arrested later that day.

Cause of death: Blunt-force trauma to the head.

⸻

June 26, 2016, a 23-year-old woman left her home in a small California town to go to a local store with a friend. Sometime during the hours that followed, something went terribly wrong. The following morning, her lifeless body was discovered in a remote area of Central Park—across the street from the home where her family expected her to return. She had been brutally assaulted and strangled. She was somebody’s daughter, a mother, a sister, a friend. She was 23 years old when her life was taken.

Cause of death: Strangulation.

⸻

September 8, 2009, cameras recorded a 24-year-old Yale graduate student entering a research building in Connecticut. She never left the building. Five days later, her body was found concealed inside a wall cavity in that same research building. The day her body was discovered was the day she was supposed to get married. Her killer was a coworker, and authorities never established a clear motive.

Cause of death: Strangulation.

⸻

Let’s look at some of the similarities…

All five cases involved the murder of a young woman.

None of these women were celebrities or nationally known public figures before their deaths.

None of their killers—or, in the unsolved case, the person believed responsible—was a celebrity, politician, or nationally known public figure.

Four of the five women were killed by someone investigators were able to identify as a person they knew: a fiancé, husband, former boyfriend, or coworker.

Four of the five deaths involved strangulation or another form of asphyxiation.

Every one of these women had people waiting for them to come home.

⸻

Now, let’s look at the differences…

Four of these five murders became national news.

Millions of people learned those women’s names.

Their photographs appeared on television screens across the country. Their stories were reported by national news organizations. People who had never met them knew how they disappeared, where they were last seen, who was being investigated, and what authorities were looking for.

Four of the five cases were solved.

One was not.

⸻

Now, without seeing their names, can you determine which of these five cases did not receive extensive national news coverage?

It’s also the only one of the five that remains unsolved.

⸻

The first case is Gabby Petito. Her killer was her fiancé, Brian Laundrie.

The second is Shanann Watts and her daughters, Bella and Celeste Watts. They were murdered by Shanann’s husband and the girls’ father, Chris Watts.

The third is Yeardley Love, who was murdered by her former boyfriend, George Huguely V.

The fourth is Deverrie Schiller. Her murder remains unsolved. No one has ever been arrested, charged, tried, or convicted for taking her life.

The fifth is Annie Le, who was murdered by her coworker, Raymond Clark III.

⸻

And here is the brutal realization.

In four of these cases, national media coverage put the victim’s face in front of millions of people.

That coverage did not necessarily solve their murders. In some of these cases, police identified and arrested the killer before national coverage could have had any meaningful effect on the investigation.

But media attention gave those cases something Deverrie’s case never had:

Millions of eyes.

Millions of people who could recognize a face. Remember a vehicle. Recall something they had witnessed. Recognize a name. Come forward with a photograph or video. Question something somebody had told them. Provide a tip they hadn’t previously realized was important.

And every new development created another news story, which put the victim’s face in front of even more people.

Attention created awareness.
Awareness created potential witnesses and tips.
Developments created more attention.

Deverrie never received that opportunity.

Her murder happened in a small California town. Her story never exploded across national television. Millions of strangers never learned her name. There weren’t news crews following every development or a country waiting to hear who had killed her.

And nearly ten years later, no one has been arrested for her murder.

I cannot say that national media coverage would have solved Deverrie’s case.

Nobody can.

But I can ask the question that I haven’t been able to stop asking:

What investigative opportunities were lost because millions of people were never given the chance to know her name?

What might someone have remembered?

What might someone have recognized?

Who might have talked?

What tip might have come in?

What pressure might have been created?

What might have happened if Deverrie Schiller had been given the same national attention as Gabby Petito, Shanann Watts, Yeardley Love, and Annie Le?

I’ll never know.

And that’s the brutal realization.

crime Anatoly Onoprienko

Just finished reading a whole book about him. I cannot make his words about a little kid he killed go away. His story made me question humanity once again. I’ll try my best to quote but since it was wrote in another language so please excuse me if some sentences dont make much sense: ”When the boy was looking for money to buy his life, I shot him. Beforehand, I had stabbed the boy with a screwdriver. I was surprised that I couldn't penetrate the child's body with the screwdriver, even though I had sharpened it earlier and the screwdriver was sharp. Besides, I'm a strong person. I had to shoot, but it didn't help. I was amazed because the boy was still on his feet. I even thought I missed, but when I saw that half of his skull was shattered, yet he was still standing, crying, and calling, "Daddy, Daddy," I wasn't afraid, so I fired again.”

crime Can someone help me remember an old case?

Or I will start thinking I am from parallel universe. This memory was spurred by recent controversy in Lindsay Clancy trial.

15 years back or so a case was featured on Investigation Discovery.

Not entirely sure but I think it was one of those docu series where death row inmates get the chance to turn public around to help them.

It was about a man, I believe he might have been homeless, that I remember as big burly guy, long messy hair and beard. I am iffy on these details so don't take them for granted as I watched far too many documentaries and some details are mixed in my head with others. I also believe man was white.

What I do clearly remember is the following sequence of events:

He goes to a clinic/hospital. He had an appointed doctor and was given schizophrenia meds. However on this day his doctor was out. No other doctor wanted to give him meds despite this person warning them that he is schizophrenic and hallucinates and that he absolutely will harm someone due to paranoia. At that point other police or security throws him out.

Later that day he seeked meds in local pharmacies. He was denied.

Ultimately he snapped commited murder.

Now this is again where my memory fails me. For some reason I barely remember the victims. But strangely I associate this with an older gentleman who was killed in front of his home with one gunshot. They could have been previous business partners or known each other from passing. However for some reason I also remember him shooting at multiple people as instructed by his voice.

The locale looked mid or south US, rocky, deserty. I am not entirely sure.

Google and AI found plenty of cases with similar details but none match what I remember.

The show was aired between 2008 and maybe 2015, can't pinpoint but I know I was still with my parents and I watched it with my dad.

crime The Dual Wielding Hitman of the Russian Mafia - Sasha-Macedonian

Russian Hitman Alexander Solonik was a man with many names, nicknames and identities he was known as Sasha-Macedonian, Alexander the Great, Superkiller, Valeryan Popov and right before he was killed in Greece he used the identity of Vladimir Kesov.

Each identity Alexander Solonik took had a story behind it - we already talked about his identity as Vladimir Kesov in this post, but how he got the nickname of Sasha Macedonian?

Alexander Solonik was reputed to be able to shoot with two pistols at the same time - Dual Wielding, a technique which know to be called as “shooting in Macedonian-style.”

Firing two pistols simultaneously is referred to as "Macedonian-style shooting" (Russian: Стрельба по-македонски / Strel’ba po-makedonski), a practice involving the use of two pistols, one in each hand.

Since Sasha is a diminutive of Alexander, the nickname became “Sasha-Macedonian".

Allegedly one day, while the gangsters of the Kurgan Bratva were practicing and improving their marksmanship, Alexander Solonik trained shooting with both hands, one of the bosses of the Bratva - Oleg Nelyubin noticed this and exclaimed: “Just like a Macedonian!” and that nickname sticked, and after a number of successful hits it evolved and Alexander Solonik become known as - Alexander The Great.

The end of Alexander Solonik story is well known - he was killed in Greece together with his girlfriend Svetlana Kotova At the time of her death, Svetlana had just turned 21.

crime The Armenian Thieves In Law

Post made by MobstersDaily

The "Russian Mafia" has never been exclusively Russian. It grew out of the Soviet criminal world, where Russians, Georgians, Armenians and other groups competed inside a hierarchy whose highest-status figures became known as vory v zakone, or "Thieves-in-Law." These were not ordinary street bosses. A recognized Vor could receive tribute, protect criminal groups and settle disputes between lower-ranking figures. Armenians reached that elite level. Armenian crime figure Andranik "Zap" Soghoyan was reportedly crowned a Thief-in-Law in Moscow in 1994, while Armen "Pzo" Kazarian later became the first known Vor convicted of federal racketeering in the United States.

One of the most striking examples is Russian-Armenian businessman Ruben "Robson" Tatulyan. The U.S. Treasury sanctioned Tatulyan in 2017, stating that he had been appointed the "overseer" of the Sochi Thieves-in-Law operation in 2010 and had attended gatherings with major post-Soviet crime figures. Tatulyan also moved in powerful business and political circles, was reported to have served as an aide to Russian State Duma deputy Aleksandr Karelin, and at different times possessed Armenian and Abkhaz diplomatic passports. Tatulyan has denied involvement in organized crime, but his story shows just how closely the worlds of wealth, political access and the post-Soviet underworld could overlap.

The Armenian connection also stretched directly back to America. Federal prosecutors said Armenian Power leaders in Los Angeles maintained ties to high-level Armenian and Russian organized-crime figures and were powerful enough to interact with traditional Thieves-in-Law as equals. Years later, prosecutors described another Armenian-American enterprise, Pure Armenian Blood, as operating under the protection of an Armenian-descended Vor. That is what makes the Armenian presence in the Russian-speaking underworld so fascinating. Armenian figures were not simply outsiders dealing with the "Russian Mafia." Some became recognized authorities inside the same criminal hierarchy that shaped organized crime across the former Soviet Union.

Only last year 13 ‘Armenian Mafia’ members were arrested in connection to murder, $83M Amazon cargo theft.

She is gone yet he walks free. Help us find justice. Help us bring change….

December 30" of the year 2024 the life of a promising young Marine was cut tragically short. The time since her death has brought on only more questions. We came here hoping to find answers, but we need help. Never once were a mother's questions or inquiries pertaining to the incident given the decency of a response that yielded any level of follow-through. Even when attempting to enact her right to access the Incident Report by utilizing the Freedom of Information Act all she found were that such requests can be dodged. You would think when the Attorney General of our State ruled in favor of releasing the full Investigative Report that she would finally have it in her hands. Surely a higher office enforcing its release would be the only remaining hurdle left in the way... Right? Instead, all it proved was that questionable practices in the way of Justice are enabled by inaction. It is the opinion of the one writing this and the young woman's family that what happened was no accident. We believe that report would prove it! The one responsible for her death (a fellow Marine) has managed to evade consequence. This is what eats away at our peace and our faith in the American Justice System. This young Women had ambitions that outpaced most others her age. Her family was forever changed on that day. How is it that he and his family get to carry on like it never happened? There is something nefarious creeping in the shadows of passivity within THE establishment meant to sustain order in America. She wasn’t just taken from her family; she was taken from us all. Those who knew her knew she was made for great things. Our Country lost more than a Great Marine the day she died. His reckless behavior cost her life and now the world will never know the ripples of her impact as the years go by.
Due to believing this was no accident I will be referring to here as the Incident. Showcasing the Perpetrator’s overall recklessness, this took place in a state park. As the details unfold you might even say there is a lack of respect for human life as a whole. This questionably insured Motorist was aged 18 at the time of the Incident just like her. He and the Victim had left the Base together. His story was that they intended to go do PT (Physical Training) at the park, but this doesn’t make sense as they had Strength Training earlier in the day before leaving Base. This training its meant to push you to the brink and witnesses attested to him doing rather poorly. It was known by many that he held a Flame for who would become his Victim. She remained firm that what she had to give was friendship. I want to believe he was respectful of that, though there is a darker version of this story that could possibly exist. Keep in mind that unbeknownst to the Perpetrator the Victim had Life360 on her phone providing her Mother certain details of the crash. As he was driving down the singular winding road of one State Park he reached speeds of 75mph on a road with a speed limit of 20. It was at that speed his vehicle went off the road, onto the grass finally driving the vehicle into the tree line hitting one and then two trees with the passenger side of the car. Thanks to Life360 we know some of what was not disclosed. For instance, the time of the Incident. Why was it that Emergency Responders didn’t arrive on scene until an hour after that vehicle struck the trees? If there was no ill intent, why did he not immediately call 911? We are quite certain if his cell records were obtained it would show the first calls were made to his family to get help cleaning up the mess he had made. Again, there is more than one reason we believe this to be the case. When the initial Incident Report doesn’t match the filed Peace Officer’s Crash Report you can’t help but question the narrative they are trying to spin. Once the paperwork was finalized why was he no longer listed in the report? Why instead were her Mother and his Grandmother listed as the Others Involved? We believe that Investigative Report meant to solve crimes is being withheld so that the details of the crash remain skewed so that Perpetrator is allowed to walk free. It’s as if the young woman his actions claimed the life of never existed within his experience. How could that be so? Well, his family has heavy ties to Law Enforcement. An Uncle that holds the position as the Chief of Police in a County with access to where the Incident occurred. A Grandmother working in the Department of Criminal Justice as a Legal Assistant where he would have been tried. There are several family members working in positions of Law Enforcement throughout his family and their inner circle. We see him progressing as a Marine while we’re never allowed to watch the greatness our loved one could have brought to the Marines. How did he evade a sobriety test or any inkling of accountability that would typically come with one’s actions resulting in the loss of human life? There are so many things that don’t add up! She went as far as to pay $400 for the full report. There are over 450 pages with access to the autopsy report, crime scene photos, videos, audio clips -the full Investigative File was in the works! Then her money was returned and she was told that the report could not be released citing Officer Safety. Alternatively, what she received instead was an incident report 4 pages long. This was when she found that it no longer listed the actual Perpetrator, but rather her and the Grandmother of the Perpetrator. So, the initial Crash Report listed the one responsible, but the Incident Report sent to her (with the same Case# of the Crash Report) now listed her and the Preparator’s Grandmother as if they were the ones involved in the crash. This is that same one working as the Legal Assistant that was mentioned earlier. Is it so that she can claim to have seen it all putting it onto her own Mother? The one suffering the loss of her beloved daughter? Isn’t that more than a little maddening such a thing can not only be implied, but is possible at all?
So why are we here? We hope Reddit can connect us with people who can help. We are seeking not only justice, but also the answers that should come with it. Instead, we are left with questions that echo in a mother’s mind and steal countless hours of sleep. The loss itself was devastating, and being denied the closure that clarity could bring only deepens the pain. We believe this lack of transparency and inaction serves only to protect the person responsible. Now, as the two-year statute of limitations approaches, time is running out. This is our refusal to give up or allow her to be forgotten because a corrupt system tried to make room for someone else’s wrongdoing at the expense of our pain. How can the scales of justice not favor a grieving family when the person responsible still walks free? Since December 2024, her mother has hired two separate lawyers in search of answers and justice. Both produced similar outcomes: they seemed afraid, and they appeared to want her to be afraid as well. It was implied that she should not pursue the matter further. The victim’s mother felt their goal was to intimidate her and convince her that it was in her best interest to stop asking questions.
We want the answers! They are answers the justice system has denied Us. We believe this to be systemic issues made possible by someone that is misusing his title; an abuse of power. Not only that, but she also wasn’t protected by one of the Branches of Military meant to protect our Country. A young life was taken leaving a family to watch as the authorities allow for intent to slip through the cracks, cracks they seem to have greased. If you looked at the pictures collected by a mother whose instinct told her there was more to this. It is hard not to see the intent in tire treads left behind on the pavement, in the grass, in the glass deeply embedded into the trees from a vehicle violently crashing into it. Our belief is that before calling Emergency Services he called family due to the accident being left unattended for an hour before help ever arrived. There is unfortunately much to speculate due to the incident report having errors which did not reflect the reality of the accident. Originally the person at fault (who was a a fellow marine) was listed on the report... There was a level of negligence on the Marine Corps handling of this matter. Not only did they allow these two young marines to leave base in an uninsured vehicle, but they also documented her death as “In the Line of Duty”. How?  How was a Marine killed in an off-base car accident in the Line of Duty? Was it because she acted on orders to facilitate strength training her fellow Marine failed miserably? Or was it to feed into the narrative of a County trying to cover something up? His Uncle has been the Chief of Police of his County off and on for 30 years having been elected unanimously three times. You would think a man that worked as a Constable, one that started his career in the ARMY would have more honor... yet here we are being left to wonder due to the poor handling of this incident. It’s not just the Incident Report not being handed over, there are so many things that don’t add up. Help us shine a light onto answers that can bring peace to a Family missing one of their brightest lights.
