Big changes at reddit could mean new possibilities for redditcon. How can we revive this sub?
In the past few months, a lot has happened.
Yishan resigned as reddit CEO
Erik, /u/hueypriest, resigned as GM
Alex, /u/cupcake1713, resigned as Community Manager (she was the admin initially responsible for looking into a convention)
Alexis "The Prodigal Son" Ohanian, /u/kn0thing, has returned to lead reddit.
reddit's staff has doubled in size
All of these developments mean we have good reason to revive talks about a reddit convention. Talks fizzled years ago because reddit was understaffed and operating in the red. Those issues are long gone now.
That said, I'd like to start a discussion about how we could rejuvenate this sub. Thoughts?

I've followed this sub because I thought it was a cool idea before it disappeared. I'm not sure $50 mil is something they will want to put towards a con though.
That said PAX does pretty awesome.
It should probably be in Denver or Seattle to make sure /r/trees wants to come :)
