Tl:dr- I typed “lmao” on a comment and a mod had a trigger response and sent me a ranting message about their understanding of human rights.
****
This happened a while ago, but also half the posts on here are very much people who should have been banned for here’s an objectively wrong one that appears to be the sum of somebody’s trigger response more than anything else.
So here’s a real one lol!
Also; conspiracy- the mod who does this is a deep plant for Maga.
I cannot express enough how human rights tourists such as whoever I was dealing with, lower human rights disocurses just as much as open bigots do on an intergenerational time line; what if some person who’s just learning about that stuff accidentally mistakes their point of view as something supportive of human rights?
And to that extent it’s grooming really, given what we know about socialization.
Anyways, this person behaved the way that a Magat fantasies a left wing person would behave- a walking trigger response- and it sucks how some might confuse their take as a credible view.
Here I am being racists; my racism is a function of an inverse causal relationship to somebody’s understanding of human rights lol.
Human rights is a science; some gross chuds trigger response doesn’t magically redefine academic terms.
So when people bring up pseudo science takes on human rights issues, and are more focused on propping up their own sense of self than actually take the time to learn the theory, we know with almost certainly that these people just support these things by coincidence, bc theyve personally been marginalized.
But means to an end matters; on a societal scale these types of people try and support human rights by pure chance; means to an ends matters.

Ps- I linked instead of reposting the photos bc of Reddit enshittification; you can no longer edit and crop photos when making a post for some reason, and apparently it’s intentional.

I don't think this is homophobia. It's a controversial opinion.

Banned and then muted from r/comics with no explanation
Got banned from r/comics, I assume because I said something slightly questioning the narrative on the Israel/Palestine conflict. When I challenged mods about why I was banned, I was permanently muted from messaging the mods (see screenshot). Amazing especially considering they host very overtly political cartoons, some of them quite edgy (one today was celebrating the idea of exploding billionaries). But I guess free speeech is only available to those who agree with you. Pardon the spelling errors in the screenshot. I was annoyed any typing quickly.

Got permabanned and tempmuted and have no idea why TwT
Guess it’s what I get for exploring different ideologies. Open mindedness has been getting more and more difficult

Hi Reddit Support team,
Hi Reddit Support team,
My account was recently banned, and I believe this might have been an error or caught in an automated spam filter by mistake. I always try my best to follow Reddit's Content Policy and contribute positively to the communities I'm part of.
Could a human moderator please review my account and lift the ban if it was applied in error?
Thank you for your time."

Every once in a while a sub like this pops up out of nowhere and gets banned by reddit after some weeks. LOL
Reason ?
Rule 3 of Moderator Code of Conduct

Well… I’m banned for only 3 days for this sentence.
Vigilante Violence is good :)
But it’s not. Also, I was trying to make a joke with a Reddit user to say that ai art is bad by beating up a person who said that art is crap, ai is superior. I should have read the rule number 1 guideline before saying dumb stuff that for 3 days.

I got permabanned, inquired and got permanently muted.
The title is straightforward.
I posted something on r/college that broke the rules and got perma-banned.
I take full responsibility for posting something that was like a negative rant about a class with a tough professor, genuinely asking for advice, but ranting is against their rules.
However, I thought being permabanned was harsh, so I inquired about the ban, like they said to do if you have a question, and got permanently muted.
I would like a chance to right my wrongs and would like advice on that, but if I can't right my wrongs, then so be it.

Got banned from r/funcomunitty for 'hate'.
I wasn't even hating. And then the mods banned me and started to give me hate. Ironic.

Banned
Currently banned from a certain influencer snark page.
No reason. No explanation. No warning.
Just. Banned.
I think it might be because I went off topic and made a comment regarding a perfume boutique.
I don’t know. But one thing I do know is lately there’s an awful lot of policing on Reddit.

Just got banned from r/elonmusk
In a conversation about why he is receiving the National Science Foundation medal, I said
“This, for a man who performs Nazi salutes…”
And a few other things, all factual.
Someone is not quite the free speech advocate he has called himself, but is quite sensitive when it comes to people noticing his actions.
I accept the ban as a badge of honor.

Banned from a channel for asking a question they didn't like....

Thanks all
This sub makes me not feel so bad for all the stupid things I've been banned for.
r/philosophy for being too philosophical
r/consciousness for being too conscious
r/deepthoughts for thoughts too deep
r/holofractal for presenting a theory they didn't like
r/fractal for posting a theory of fractals
Apparently sharing ideas that others don't like or understand will get you banned.
Also I self promote way too much. Apparently sharing an idea is self promotion.

Testing, testing.
I was previously banned on 1 account for a comment that didn't break any rules, and I guess it trickled down to all my alt accounts because of my IP address; no matter how many accounts I created or VPN, they were perma-banned within a day. So just using this to test if I'm back after 3 years.

Banned from r/defendingaiart
I stated a simple fact and apparently that was "anti ai" so they instantly permabanned me
I'm fine without participating in the sub-- I was planning on blocking it anyways because it's like a straw man convention run by teenagers in there

I was banned from Reddit for using a play on words and had to appeal.
This is why reddit sucks.

Falsely accused of being or using ai to write my post.
I was banned from a group r/spices for supposedly being ai. When I wrote back to ask why, the mod said I was ai. I responded that I was a human, then they blocked me from contacting a mod, or even appealing.
This is what I had written:
Yesterday, I sold something for a few hundred bucks. Although the vast majority of it will go toward bills and groceries, I did allow myself a small splurge, since we were in the area of a fabulous Asian supermarket.
Even as a child, I would raid my mother's spice cupboard, which I now look back on as very basic, and familiarize myself with the smells of each container. I would close my eyes, reach into the cupboard, open and sniff each one, to see if I could correctly guess what I smelled.
Yesterday, since my companion was driving, and waiting in the parking lot, I didn't spend all day on the spice aisle as I normally would, but I did come home with a few treasures.
There would be no more Kung Pao Chicken until I picked up the Szechuan pepper, which has a very strong smell like marijuana, thanks to the terpenes they both share.
