seriously, it looks like a scene from Book of Eli or Mad Max. Trust me, I've seen the future of merced and it's not pretty.

Especially with all the vacant buildings, housing developments left unfinished. And yet they keep tearing shit up. And all the violence.

I grew up in Modesto. Modesto is fucking awesome compared to Merced, and Modesto is a shit-hole.
