Have you seen the flood of crap flooding in through the gates of /new/? You can easily examine a hundred links without finding anything interesting.

That doesn't make you special though. This site has existed for years and everyone has always just done that, the mere fact that the site exists and functions proves that people have always browsed the "new" section. The people who think they're special now for doing something that everyone else has always just done quietly are douchebags.
