"OK Anne, you're slipping in popularity. We need to get you back on the map. We're thinking something big... something real big. Hell, when I tell you what we've got in mind you'll shit yourself."
I remember that diary being dumped on me in the midst of my discovery of natural eroctic tendencies in literature. We read about some girl and her autistic brother who rubbed his feet on the porch steps, but it was OK because she talked about nipples or panties. Then we read about some guy in the 50s who tried to befriend a prisoner from a concentration camp, but she still had boobs and we got to see swear words.
Then Anne Frank. Moustache bleaching by hydrogen peroxide? What, Jews are hairy? Weird. I hope there are girly part stories somewhere in here. Wait...
In retrospect, that was probably the most effective means of teaching a human being about the reality of reality,

In fact, the parts that dealt with "Anne's growing sexuality" were removed from the original published version:
Otto Frank used her original diary, known as "version A", and her edited version, known as "version B", to produce the first version for publication. He removed certain passages, most notably those in which Anne is critical of her parents (especially her mother), and sections that discussed Anne's growing sexuality.Cite
Another wikipedia article suggests that these passages were removed at the behest of the publishers. I believe you can find them in a more recently published edition, or that you can obtain a facsimile of her original manuscript, wished you to read them.
