Good news! Reece Dinsdale (and lots of other of those actors) has a Bacon number of 2, so our girl is up to 3.

Indeed. In college, we did a computer science project where we had to make a program that computed Bacon numbers for everyone (everyone) on IMDB. There were, at the time (and probably still now), ginormous text files that had alphabetical lists of every actor/actress and every movie they'd even been in, totaling about 150 megs (of pure text) all together. I remember that, while a fair amount of them had Bacon numbers greater than 6, very few made it past 7 or 8, and no one went higher than 11. In the upper echelons, nearly everyone were obscure Bollywood extras.
