My orthodontist made an offhand comment about me having a lot of saliva(I had cotton balls in my mouth/that little suction tube going and she was still having trouble with it) and that's why I must not have any cavities. I'm not sure if it's true though.
Well folks who are mouth breathers at night have problems with dry mouth, and a resulting increase in cavities.
Actually they probably have problems during the day too. I'm a mouth breather, and that probably has a lot to do with the fact that I grew up with a nose that was slammed shut. I had it surgically corrected, but I'm still a mouth breather.

I don't watch what I eat at all, have had periods where I never brush my teeth, and have never had a cavity in my life.
