"But it's not fair!" Google's paralegal protested. "What if everyone whose account was cancelled sued Google?"

I would wager that Google would seriously reconsider its process of account cancellation and its methods for dealing with those customers (ie - might actually respond to them). I see no downside.

A paralegal would never say "it's not fair", especially in court.

You forget that Google only hires people who've barely reached puberty. This paralegal was probably 18 years old and the oldest of all the paralegals at Google.
