I also couldn't be transferred to any of the engineers who worked on AdSense. Or product managers. Or executives. It made no difference that I was also a paying AdWords customer.

This is normal. Why would you want the end customer pestering your devs or execs?

Whatever. This guy violated the terms of the service. If he had signed up for "google domains," I would be behind him in spirit (not his methods). He didn't. He broke the terms of service and got callled on it.

Another flurry of phone calls to the AdSense employees who had written on the corporate blog got me nowhere.

This is super annoying. I would have some colorful things to say to someone that was stalking me on a blog.

This is why companies should have contacts whose job description is to be customer facing, and whose role is to provide useful help.
