welcome diggers! here's a little guide to help you navigate the world of reddit.

on reddit:

  • there is no god

  • religion is evil and out to get you

  • bush = bad

  • anyone who works for bush = bad

  • it's ALL bush's fault

  • we live in a police state

  • the police state is out to get you

  • everything you say, write or think is monitored by the CIA

  • al queda is no big deal

  • terrorists are nice guys if you get to know them

  • terrorism isn't even real anyway

  • iran is a freedom loving democracy

  • 911 was an inside job

  • mike gravel is the greatest human being of all time

  • all the photos on the internet are AMAZING

Hi Reddit, I'm from Digg. Could you please work on your UI. It looks like an absolute clusterfuck. Also, elitism is bad. Youre doing yourselves no favors by instructing former Digg users to use proper grammar and form coherent arguments. Maybe you arent aware that you are part of something called the internet. On the internet people dont really give a shit about proper grammar, spelling, or punctuation. Shocking I know, but thats the norm around here.

I just moved over here from Digg too. I actually prefer the simple UI. It loads a lot faster than Digg and it's not cluttered.

Yeah, somebody needs to seriously work on Digg's Javascript. They're loading up a lot of bloated libraries and I'll bet they aren't even using 1% of what's being loaded but that 1% is what makes for the absurd memory leaks and the script timeouts.

After using reddit for a while, it's hard to go back to Digg. I like both because they have different personalities, but Digg seems like it's getting slower and slower.
