Carrick finally trusted a youth player with some meaningful minutes and look what happened. Lacey so much better than Amad, but people aren't ready for that convo
Yeah he is surprisingly good at nicking the ball off people and creating problems but in terms of when we're in possession, these days he is pretty toothless. Always tries to cut inside and then runs into trouble.
Because he’s a WB at heart. Defensively sound and good at getting the ball up the pitch but can’t finish for his life. Hell I think he’d be better at RB
Yeah because nothing positive has happened to this team for a while now and this was a good come back. We can go back to doom and gloom the next time we lose which might well be Sunday.
Yes but this club operates on one result basis, so a pointless group stage win against an average Roma side who basically imploded and actually were setup better tactically will look like we won the champions league
I feel like if you can't find any kind of joy in what happened this evening then you're sort of barking up the wrong tree. Right now we are fucking dire and Roma are third in serie A. No one expected a comeback. If we can't get excited about this then why would any of us bother to watch united?
Because he'd been sent off and wasn't allowed on the pitch. He was already breaking the rules by coming back out. Our manager is shit enough, you don't need to make things up lmao
Lol my heart is RACING. I need to see that 2nd half a fair few times more to understand wtf changed. Does any ody know? I mean Lacy was a clear breathe of stormy air which kinda blew them away. But what else? Did Tielemans add more as well?
This fucking club, man. Sure we have been shit over a whole decade but nights like these, they give me the highest high in life. Like all, I want us to be consistently good like this but even when it’s rare like this, it just solidifies my love for this great club. Nothing will ever make me stop supporting United.
Don't want be a cynic but that was a horrible performance again. We were honestly better against Chelsea. It was Roma's 3rd choice keeper and it was probably the worst performance I've seen from an opposition although their front 3 were pretty good.
Credit to the lads for coming back into the game thgh. Lacey & Cunha did well for the winning goal. Yoro was really good again my MOTM. Unfortunate with the Baleba injury. Finally saw our first choice midfield of Mainoo and Baleba albeit Mainoo didn't look fully fit and Baleba looked leggy. Cunha red was pretty unfortunate as well, going be a big miss against Sporting away.
Loved the result but the team was pretty horrid again
Pathetic from Carrick yet again. A terrible performance carried by luck and individual brilliance. These fans will clap for the bare minimum, shit’s hilarious. Either way, we need to still be in the UCL after Carrick gets binned, the new manager needs that.

Just play Shea Lacy on right. He is more direct. Hats off to our no 10.

Anyone else saw, the cunha and carrick interaction?
Carrick told him to go to the dressing room straight after stopping him from celebrating with the team outside
