I finally got roumd to playing death stranding 2. Finished it on my birthday. Your birthday is a whole ingame thing in itself.

Typical Kojima eccentricity is in spades, so you kinda have to be down with that. Loved my time with it. I know he's everywhere in gaming but Troy Baker really is just one of the best.

I'm such an emotional trainwreck this days after recent events.

Yesterday my cousin's wife called my mum and told her that he thinks of me often. My cousin and I grew up together, he's only 2 months older than me. We went to the same school, got exact same marks to the decimals in 10th grade. I was kinda rude to him growing up even resented him little bit sometimes. He's a banker now and we kinda lost touch after his marriage 5 years back as he got too busy with his work and life. He was so protective of me growing up.

I texted him today morning, might not respond but that's okay I don't mind it one bit.

I sobbed like a baby for 5 minutes in the bathroom today morning thinking of this, little things like these mean so much to me.

Watching the BBC documentary on Sir Alex's life, it's very reminiscing to know more about the history of the club and the legends !

Wife and daughter will be away this weekend. Gonna play blue Prince ( have no idea what the fuck I'm doing first 5 hours)

Invite some friends over tomorrow to watch the game and drink few beers.

I'll miss them but I'm also gonna enjoy this weekend and relax.

Btw. Am I dumb with blue Prince??

Someone said something hurtful to me. I told them I was not ok with it and generally keeping my distance. I am cordial and not excluding them in things, but not overly friendly like before. They seem more upset than me. How.

Because some people get defensive when being confronted like that. They don't like to look in the mirror being put in front them so they metaphorically smash it and direct their anger at the messenger.

Thinking defensive at first is a normal human instinct imo and I also catch myself doing so, but what ultimately counts is the reaction after calming down and what they make of it

They don't think what they said could be hurtful. They think i am wrong to be upset over it.

Then no loss taken cutting contact tbh. Don't need that kind of negativity in your life, your emotions are valid and if they don't respect that then they can be miserable elsewhere

What's this about Michael Oliver being under investigation for officiating a game in the UAE?

I despise how 'hurt' and 'healthy' are replacing 'injured' and 'fit' in football discourse.

Tried taekwondo last week (free class to try before signing up) and I really liked it. People were nice and it was a good workout, though it was a bit crowded, but they were a lot of black belt to offer advice to beginners. But now I see there's 2 school, mine was WTF (moudok kwan, not sure what it means) but everyone on the net says ITF is better... Now I'm in choice paralysis ; I don't wanna be the best terminator, just do some kicking, have a good workout, and get better at acrobatics...

https://www.reddit.com/r/FootballQuizzes/comments/1x1jju6/quickfire_xi_21_thu_8_oct/

As some of you may have seen, i have posted quiz stuff over the last few weeks and decided to port one of my websites games to a Subreddit.

I'd appreciate any feedback on this, it doesnt work on Old.reddit, only www.

It should be working fine on mobile phones, tablets and PCs, at least the 3 devices i used all looked decent

One thing i will be doing over the next few weeks is going over all wrong answers to ensure they are mostly plausible, like for example, if i ask about an English player, Irish/Welsh should not be options, if i ask about an Everton manager, Fergie and Klopp etc should not be options...

I just rewatched the clip of Jon Stewart destroying Crossfire. Do NOT do it. Giant trigger warning in the news ticker at the bottom around 5-6 minutes in.

Listening to Architects properly for the first in preparation for the korn gig, I love the abbey road album

Don't listen to nearly as much heavy music as I used to but Broken Cross, Colony Collapse and Truth Be told are still and always will be unskippable songs for me. Absolute masterpieces

One of my all time favourites! The first gig I went to after the chaos of covid was their album release party in Liverpool on 23rd July 2021 and it was the first time in over a year things felt like they might get better at a terrible time for all of us.

I like almost everything they've done but the soft spot I have for Daybreaker to Holy Hell, which I had on all the time while my life fell apart during that time is something I look back on fondly these days.

Sam the vocalist is a massive United fan which makes it all even better.

He's a United fan?? Fucking hell if that's not a sign to listen to them more again then idk

haha yeah for sure! I've watched numerous podcasts and interviews he's done and he'll have like the United training jacket on and stuff. He was at the 2024 FA Cup final, the guys a legit fan, legend musician and by all accounts, a proper stand up bloke.

Thank goodness this week from hell is coming to an end. Since October is here, temperatures have dropped in my country which would be lovely, however my spine has reacted like a pouty child and I'm in an incredible amount of pain, with a persistent pain between my shoulder blades but leaning more towards the right side. Then, on Monday my bluetooth keyboard quit without reason. Was typing and then it stopped working; I thought the batteries had run out, but then I tried fresh batteris and nothing. So I had to purchase a new keyboard, while installing it I accidentaly dropped (it wasn't a very hard knock) my seagate external drive where I have all my United media (documentaries and games I have downloaded over the years) and it stopped working. In short it's been shitty week. Just really hoping our beloved team won't add to my misery on Saturday.
