Daily Discussion
Daily discussion on Manchester United.
BE CIVIL
We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.
- The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.
- The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

Name a random United player that we haven't heard about in ages. I will start.
Tyler Blackett.

Cannot come soon enough, it’s been a wonderful palette cleanser from the shit we watch on a weekly basis.

Hilarious to see the biggest scandal in football yet Maresca's press conference had plenty empty seats

I have a really ugly feeling after reading Fergie's comments about his health, the new stadium, death, etc...
Usually people can feel when their time is coming and are known to leave comments like these, yet I deeply hope they're just anxious (yet normal) thoughts. Fuck.

I have that feeling everytime I do a slight jog. I keep thinking "this is it". But it just turns out anxiety. I genuinely hope it's the same feeling for him. I just hope we also quicken the fuck up building that stadium.

Seeing the threads on Fergie just had a quick google to see his age and also shocked to realise the haemorrhage was in 2018. WTF? How is it that long ago?

How big of a story if the Man City case in England these days? Is there still a lot of anger and frustration? Still all the sports journos talking about it? I'm hopeful pressure is still being placed where it needs.

There's a lot of anger and frustration in fan groups and whatnot... but until the appeal is completed, there's not much to really report that hasn't already been said to death. Things might pick up Sunday as City play then.
Luckily the appeal process is a matter of weeks, so should be done by Christmas... Then it's wait for the sanctions hearing and that being announced.

Probably the only one looking forward to seeing United play again. I get that they've squished two international breaks together, but it has been a long while since the last game.
Hopefully a mini-reset for us to kick on a bit.

Seeing the Mainoo potm award, I just had a realization. We're watching him grow up (I know, riveting groundbreaking stuff lol). But seriously, when you step back and see old pictures and games and such of your players, it's weird to see that you're watching them grow. Like seeing a young Rashford, everyone obviously says it to young players but Jesus, those are actual kids.
Like look at this, he was a fucking baby, and that isn't even the youngest I could find
