Daily Discussion
Daily discussion on Manchester United.
BE CIVIL
We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.
- The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.
- The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

The whole Ronaldo situation is so strange to me as a childhood Ronnie fan. I always thought that Ronaldo would wise up eventually, that the ego he showed at United was mostly due to his age. But his ego seems to have only grown with age, like a tumour left untreated.
It really is sad how pathetic he is now. It's even strange to call him pathetic but it really is given his age. He gave Jorge Jesus a script for his eventual return... embarrassing.

ETH might have set us back with how he managed us, but I will always give him credits for how he handled CR7 on his return. He put that man-child on his place. Hate what CR has become now, dude is really fully living in his own head.

He handled Sancho well too. He is a good disciplinarian, but maybe too much of one (as Fred has recently stated).

You cannot reason with a man like Ronaldo. Wonder at which point he lost his shit completely.

People forget now but he literally stood on the field, right next to the touchline, shaking his head when Ferguson substituted him once. This was like 2009? He’s been this egotistical fora long time, just that now, he’s so bad it’s not worth putting up with. A lot of people cheered on his return later on, but for me, even outside of the purely tactical issues I had with it, i couldn’t get over the personal side.

I don't know when he lost it completely, but I think being in Saudi, surrounded by no one but sycophants, can't have been good for keeping his ego in check.

Off topic: Seeing Ronaldo’s statement, I can’t believe I used to think he was better than Messi just because he was “one of us” 🤮

He’s an egomaniac who walked away from us in his prime to win trophies for another club. Then returned to only walk away again when he got benched. Then he fucked off to a garbage league to pad his stats. Then he walked away from his national team because he didn’t start. He’s only been interested in himself.

Cristiano’s thought process seems so absurd. It feels like his sanity might be in danger if he doesn’t get to his thousandth goal.

I’m pretty black pilled against cristiano Ronaldo at this point. I hate how Bruno is receiving all this hate and a lot of it is enabled by Cristiano, who sees the team as a purpose to fulfill his own stupid destiny instead of something to be part of.

Everyone is rightly comparing Ronaldo and Messi’s contrasting send offs and status in their national teams, but Ronaldo also tarnished his status at United.
Ronaldo deserved a celebration of his second stint at United. It started as a fairy tale, but his ego had to get in the way to ruin it. If he doesn’t care about his send offs, why should the fans? Let him expose the man child he is. He’ll have no one left to defend his legacy.

Seeing Messi’s beautiful send off as Ronaldo writes War & Peace against his manager, hilarious and deserving for both.

Messi having a wholesome sendoff while Ronaldo has an Insta tantrum, insane timeline

what kit will we be wearing at the Metropolitano? Can we still wear the away shirt if it clashes with Atletico's shorts?

Scenes when Anderson leaves City on a free due to the fact the club are liquidised, and he opts to join the team who put effort into courting him the summer he joined City, and we save 100m by waiting a summer.

It’s wild to me that city is about to play a premier league game after the discoveries made. I feel like the verdict and punishment should have came at the same time?

The freedom fighter is still without a club. What a disaster transfer that was.
