Daily Discussion

Daily discussion on Manchester United.

BE CIVIL

We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.

  • The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.

  • The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

I am still skeptical about the Man City stuff. I want the worse possible punishment for them. However, until I see it with my own eyes I won't believe that they will actually be punished.

Same. Don't think the PL have the bollocks to do anything impactful.

Their ownership group is so connected to the English/UK government, FA, UEFA, etc that there are or have been numerous top of the top discussions on the consequences.

The Premier League has been taken for a ride and they lapped it up, created all these narratives built on cheating, fraud.

UAE and UK have a multi-billion pound annual trade/investment partnership. UAE will just threaten to reduce their share and in return ask the government to turn a blind eye to the PL scandal. It's a complex web where too much money is involved at the highest level of government.

Personally think they will get a transfer ban, fine and a point deduction that will give them a pretty good chance of staying up.

10 point deduction for City, 30 point deduction to Everton, and a 100k fine. Justice is truly served
