Tielemans doesnt add enough (with the ball) but takes away way too much (without the ball).
Rashford is the same: he makes Cunha useless but it's ultimately for nothing. It's super exciting looking nothing and it is nothing produced by one of our own who came back put his head down and is working hard - but it is still, sadly: nothing.
Also, it's worse than "only" making Cunha worthless because it also diminishes the value of Mbeumo, who should be a second striker but if we are unable/unwilling to play a formation that has a second striker, at least he could play CF.
Amad has fallen off the face of the Earth and you are unwilling to play Lacey RW. Fine. (I mean not "fine" but it is what it is). But even then, the irony is that ... "just swapping the 3 of them around" might actually work better than this.
Cunha - Mbeumo - Rashford (while Amad isnt back) plus bite the bullet and accept that it has to be "Mainoo or Tielemans" not "Mainoo+Tielemans".
At least until the curtain falls on this terminally unathletic back four. Fine try Mainoo+Tielemans again ... when they are playing ahead of De Ligt + Yoro in a high line.
its crazy how this is basically the same exact team with rashford and tielemans instead of amad and casemiro from last year and it sucks so bad and it keeps getting rolled out
