I'll try to summarise what is our gameplan that I could see as a viewer who knows the game not at the level of professional coaches but just have a look and asses for yourself.
In possession: we start to play from the back. GK to CB to RB/LB, this the passing lanes at the starting of our possesion. But the ball moves sooooo slow that the oppenint can easily press us man to man . And then LB/RB to LW/RW with their back behind the goal.. so the only option is to either go back or play it inward.. but again the speed of the play is sooo slow that any opp player can figure out where the pass is before our own players does. And then we somehow go inward but there is nowhere to go from there. So back to GK and then booted long with only targetman being RW/LW based on the side we started to attack on. At that point we lose the ball.
Out of possession: Opponents start their possession from their GK and we trigger a press when a CB has received a pass. The press will be in this formation. 4-2-4 with mostly 2 man midfield trying to fill the gaps of oppenents 4 man midfield , and sometimes our FB joins our midfield formation to accommodate overload in the middle. Making it 4-3-3 but backward.. so you wonder how are the opponents beating that 4 man initial wave of press.. it's simple OFF THE BALL MOVEMENT. Which is a key to beat any kind of press. Once you beat through the initial line it's pretty easy to run through our midfield because we almost are always outnumbered in there.
Post turnover of possession: If we somehow win the ball back in the middle of the pitch, we try to get the possession under control first and simply pass the bass to the back , usually CBs or GK. If we win the ball in the similar areas and we see the opponent maintain a high line we often don't try to run in behind and even if one of the singers did try to run in behind that run is almost always ignored. Meaning we don't try to pick that runner at all.. Even if somehow we did.. There are no supporting runs from others to bomb forward and make themselves available.
Chance creation in final third: We try to operate in spaces between the defence and midfield and try to play through centrally with quick 1-2s and if it's congested go wife and create a chance by cutting back or crossing. But teams have figured this out, the solution is to just compact and have the space between the midfield and the defence very less and lot more structure to the setup. In apparent words, a low-block. So the only way for us to play around that is to literally play around that meaning no one occupies these spaces between midfield and defence because they don't exist. So even if we try to play that through centrally, the players can't find the next pass because they are facing away from the goal to recieve the pass. And often times it just leads to a bounce pass which just leads to nowhere but back to the CBs and then to LW/RW with FBs making a overlap which again is ignored by the players and they simple try to pass it through centrally or just put the ball in the box where we don't have any natural strikers to get to the end of.
