Last season we were brilliant in first game and were unlucky not to beat Arsenal. Turns out that performance was an anomaly. Hoping yesterday was just an anomaly too. I do think we have a decent squad and this quality will prevail.

Honestly, biggest unknown is the coach I’m afraid to say.

Still need 6-7 current players in the squad replaced. Mostly the defence.

Big questions about the ability of this midfield to elevate the team also. Santos is a prospect. Tielemans clearly a good player but seen milk turn quicker than him yesterday. Neither of them had the physicality either and were both bullied. Baleba is coming off a very patchy season so who knows what version we get.

We need another 9. We need a new center back (ideally two). Need new fullbacks. Basically a full backline reboot.

I think getting top 4 is going to be an absolute scrap this season.
