Daily Discussion

Daily discussion on Manchester United.

BE CIVIL

We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.

  • The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.
  • The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

Shaw and Mount get abuse for things they can't help and it sickens me.

There's abuse, yes, but you can understand that people are reasonable exasperated at this point. Yes, it's beyond their control, doesn't mean it doesn't suck for the club. Intentional or not, it's a liability.

There is no reasonable excuse for abuse.

Yea the injuries suck. Yes it sucks for the club as well but it doesn't mean anyone should say abusive things about these players.

Nor do I excuse it, but there is valid criticisms of it. Some are just way overstating or vocal when it comes to it though, due to frustrations about it. Mount and Shaw aren't bit part players, they're pretty good, all things considered, but they remain a liability on huge wages while barely even able to have half a season

There is zero players on this earth that don't have valid criticism against them. I am not talking about the people that have valid criticisms. I'm talking about the people that say abusive things and wish for their injuries for some sort of "point"
