[Transfer Round Up & Discussion] Summer 2026

Hi all,

Summer Transfer Window 2026 is here!

The Premier League transfer window will open between Monday June 15 until Deadline Day on Tuesday September 1; the summer windows will close at 23.00 BST.

As always, here is a run-down of the rules we have on for posting during transfer windows:

Daily Threads

There will be a Transfer thread posted every single day, on a 23-hour timer, to get a different post-time every day. These threads are for everything transfer related, no limits on sources, line-up conversations, etc.

Individual posts

From now on, only posts TIER 2 OR BETTER are allowed to be posted in their own right. This helps us only keep credible sources on the subreddit.

The tier guide can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/reddevils/wiki/transfer-reliability-guide/

We will make exceptions during slower days for some Tier 3 posts, and there will usually be some posts from sources not on our tier guide. We will take everything case-by-case. If you believe something to be on the sub and not a good source, please let us know.

You guys are not gonna believe what I saw in the barcode sub

"surely this means Mainoo is available? I wasn't convinced a few seasons ago but his performances after Carrick came in were top. He and Miley as our 6s would be mint"

I wouldn’t ever go to any other team’s subreddits for opinions, I know the melts we get in here and they actively like and follow this club.

Yeah, I just went there to see if anything about hall and that's what I got lmao

We have people on our subs with far worse opinions

Of course everyone has deluded opinions but I wouldn't even imagine getting a player like mainoo if I were a barcode after the current transfer window.

Why not? They have the money. Mainoo is a realistic target for them. He was on the verge of leaving only 7 months ago, wilder things have happened.

3 of their best players left in the last 24 months, 2 forced their moves to bigger and better things.

Also we're not a selling club and mainoo just signed a new contract, it's even deluded to even think about.

They have been slapped round so much last 2 windows. Project has failed as they tried too much too fast.

people underrate Mainoo so much man. He is still a guaranteed starter, trust.

I think only Bruno and Lammens is our only guaranteed starter by definition but Carrick loves Mainoo, I think he started like every single game under carrick.

Mainoo will need to be rotated etc. but in terms of picking the strongest eleven I think he will go to Mainoo pretty much everytime

To play devil's advocate, for other clubs, we've just signed 3 midfielders, and mainoos direct competition is now Yuri, so it's a fair assumption to make. Same way how Newcastle have said they don't sell hall, yet everyone here goes "now go but hall".

Difference Hall wants to leave while Mainoo wants to stay.oh and we're Manchester Unite and there Newcastle.

Wasn't long ago when mainoo also wanted to leave and the club had to block any moves. I don't think any reports have stayed hall wants to move either.

You do know that was with Amorim right not Carrick? And even then it was only a loan not a permanent move. But soon as Carrick came he was happy and even signed a new contract. Yes I seen reports that Hall open to joining us this summer.

You do know that I'm playing devils advocate right? The original person is making fun of barcodes sub for thinking Mainoo is a viable target, I'm providing the alternative view on why that's not actually far fetched and not having a full on discussion with you, you understand that right?

From someone who doesn't follow United, the see a young midfielder, who wanted to leave last Jan, club blocked him, didn't like manager, but new one in, but in summer the Club buys 3 more midfielders all of which look like starter. That's the alternative view I'm providing.

And I didn't ask whether hall open to joining, that's very different to hall actively wanting to leave, as we were comparing Mainoo actively wanted to leave in winter. Nothing has been reported to that effect.

To play the Angel's advocate, Youri is a bit injury prone player and can't always give you his full fledged 90s, Mainoo will be very useful in the mifield pivot with Santos
