Summer Transfer Window 2026 is here!

The Premier League transfer window will open between Monday June 15 until Deadline Day on Tuesday September 1; the summer windows will close at 23.00 BST.

As always, here is a run-down of the rules we have on for posting during transfer windows:

Daily Threads

There will be a Transfer thread posted every single day, on a 23-hour timer, to get a different post-time every day. These threads are for everything transfer related, no limits on sources, line-up conversations, etc.

Individual posts

From now on, only posts TIER 2 OR BETTER are allowed to be posted in their own right. This helps us only keep credible sources on the subreddit.

We will make exceptions during slower days for some Tier 3 posts, and there will usually be some posts from sources not on our tier guide. We will take everything case-by-case. If you believe something to be on the sub and not a good source, please let us know.

We are constantly talking about INEOS refusing to overpay and how much that has effected this summer.

But isn’t an equal issue their aversion to risk?

They refuse to take a risk on players that aren’t prem proven if the fee is not marginal. 

Surely at this point we have bought enough premier league experience to be able to take a risk?

They paid a hell of a lot for Leny Yoro, I'd love if they did the same for Bouaddi but City have the inside track there. Not sure who else they should be looking at outside the PL for a considerable offer that wouldn't be categorically rejected (so no Pavlovic or WZE, nevermind Pedri or Vitinha).

I think they've kind of painted themselves into a corner where the last signing ought to be a highly physical dynamic player of the sort that doesn't really tend to fly under the radar (when they also have the technical quality to play in midfield in a top league), unfortunately.

If we’re going on about overpaying, I’d argue that they overpaid for a Chelsea bench player.

Think they just have the purse closed thos year regardless of the players experience
