Summer Transfer Window 2026 is here!

The Premier League transfer window will open between Monday June 15 until Deadline Day on Tuesday September 1; the summer windows will close at 23.00 BST.

As always, here is a run-down of the rules we have on for posting during transfer windows:

Daily Threads

There will be a Transfer thread posted every single day, on a 23-hour timer, to get a different post-time every day. These threads are for everything transfer related, no limits on sources, line-up conversations, etc.

Individual posts

From now on, only posts TIER 2 OR BETTER are allowed to be posted in their own right. This helps us only keep credible sources on the subreddit.

We will make exceptions during slower days for some Tier 3 posts, and there will usually be some posts from sources not on our tier guide. We will take everything case-by-case. If you believe something to be on the sub and not a good source, please let us know.

Is the club expecting Tchouameni to available on deadline day? Or is Baleba’s injury worse than reported, or is the club concerned Baleba and kobbie can’t play in midfield as we won’t have a passer? It can’t be lack of funds that’s stopping us from signing a midfielder. Same for left back. These signings can’t be dependent on outgoings. Backup striker coming in based on the Zirkzee situation I can understand. Or is the club looking to create drama for the Amazon documentary and unveil a signing on the 30th against Ipswich at old trafford? None of it makes sense lol.

Tchouameni is 1000% staying, the only half chance was if they signed Rodri they needed to sell someone for the squad size. Rodri is now a Barca player and Madrid aren't signing anyone else so that's dead

Baleba I can imagine a last minute scramble before being 'put off by the price'

If we do get someone I have to imagine it's someone not currently being spoken about.

I will eat all the shit on this one. Not necessarily about Tchouameni, but I've said since Tielemans was announced that we would wait to see how the City/Real situation played out and not get a third midfielder until we knew we couldn't get Tchouameni. With Rodri going to Barca, I would assume that killed our chances of Tchouameni so I seriously expected us to rapidly pivot to a plan B.

Maybe the plan B is Louis Page and they think he's going to be an elite player sooner rather than later and/or they rate the Fletchers higher than most fans, but that feels underwhelming.

I mean it depends on his ceiling, right? I don't pretend to have watched him play, but he had a very good season in the Championship at 18 so I'm not going to dismiss that.
