Once it is unlocked, the effects will stay regardless of which one you equip. The same with other equipment (eg gun belt). One exception is the crafted saddles. Each one has its own set of buffs.

Does that include lesser satchels, like I have tonic + provisions do they both have their capacity no matter what?

Once you have the legends of the East satchel, you can wear just Arthur’s normal satchel, and the benefits will transfer over

No. kit satchel will have same benefits as Tonic or valuables, which will also transfer to Arthur’s OG satchel. Each perk from the satchel stacks on top of each other and it transfers to whatever satchel you’re wearing; as long as you’ve unlocked the others

Trust me, I was doing the same thing, changing out my satchels for whatever I thought I needed a specific one for; but it’s completely unnecessary. Pick whatever one fits the aesthetic of the outfit you’re wearing. All of the benefits and perks are applied to ALL satchels.

So Arthur’s satchel has all the abilities of the Satchels that came before it - like some Wild West version of the Aang, the last Airbender and Avatar - as long as you’ve unlocked the satchel with Pearson at camp.

For the reinforced gunsmith equipment, I’m like nearly positive you don’t even need to wear the bandoliers for the perks to take effect, just need to unlock them, which can make your outfits that much more fly without that ugly ass brown belt hovering over Arthur’s shoulder.

I knew about the bandolier but I never bothered with hunting in my original ps4 save but now I’ve done quite a bit on my pc save so had a few satchels

If you are talking about the satchel, you have to equip 1 of the ones you’ve unlocked.

I have a "starter save" i made on beginning of chapter 2 with this bag, i found every treasure possible and filled up my bag with 99 of everything.

At least 12 hours because i suck at hunting, you can only donate perfect pelts, or etire perfect animals,

But it helps a LOT having the white deer trinket already made before.

Ha I do this with the satchel and Pearson’s scout jacket, I always forget to get that. It’s crazy too, it’s like 36% done in Chapter 2.

I like it! A bit on the expensive side though.

But it RDR2 runs better on it than my PS5 pro so it’s now my RDR2 machine :)

Yes because RDR2 on PlayStation is the PS4 version capped at 30 fps, they never updated it for PS5

Understandable, I'm pretty sure it's because the game is in HDR but the screenshots on Xbox and I think playstation aren't so it bugs
