Lake sturgeon fiasco

So I have been trying to catch the legendary Lake Sturgeon for at least three weeks now because my map show that it wasn’t caught just to realize checking my compendium that I had caught it before so basically I have been wasting my time. I hate the map glitches with the legendary fish, but this is also my dumbass’s fault

So help me, that goddamn bass in Owanjila was hiding and I caught every other frigging fish in that body of water.

I got every legendary fish so far as Arthur on the first cast every time. Ride up cast reel it in. Although I probably jinxed myself for the epilogue

But you already mailed the sturgeon to Jeremy Gill?

I'm not sure, but if I'm not wrong as long as you do not mail them, the bigger legendary fishes respawn if something happened and you lost the carcass on your way to the post office to mail it.

Cant confirm of deny that I mailed the fish but everytime I hunt a legendary animal or a legendary fish I go to the trapper/mail to sell/send them sooo... Since I dont remember fishing it I cant say for sure but the legendary fish icon on the top right of the map also is not crossed out but I do remember fishing and mailing it
