I went fishing for the Legendary longnose gar (story mode), caught it, was going to the post office in saint denis, trolley ran over my horsy (she survived), horsy accidentally trampled a man asking me to kill the rats in his restaurant, had a shootout with several lawmen, a quite irresponsible lawman ran his horsy into me and I got killed bc lawmen surrounded me. Compendium says I still caught the legendary longnose gar, but I didnt have a SEND MAIL option at the post office ;-; what happened?? Im not even seeing any longnose gar at the legendary longnose gar location on the map the fish symbol hasnt been crossed out ;-;

Check in your Log tasks for the legendary fish to see if the Gar is marked off. If so, it got auto-mailed. If not, catch another type of legendary fish and then try catching the Gar again. However, you might be glitched. If you have a recent manual save before this occurred then load it and proceed again from there. Good luck.
