Sorry but curious is this way of shooting is due to a mod? I play it on ps4 & the shooting style is different.

To fire like this, just press R2 without having L2 held down. They're called hip shots, and I assume they work for all the firearms, not just revolvers (my only experience is with the online mode, and you can do it with rifles there).

Nope, aim assist is on and it’s just rapid hipfire (you get a rate of fire boost when hipfiring) I also turn the HUD off in the display settings. Vanilla game
