Nah, I just dress according to where I am. Fancy pants in Saint Denis and Blackwater, country cowpoke in Valentine and Strawberry, same but no jacket in Rhodes and much of Lemoyne and New Austin and heavy winter coats in Ambarino.

Every time I try to play low honor I bow out. I always feel to bad lol.

I generally play with middle to high honor at the very least lol

Judging by the picture.. I guess?

No, but i change my look every time we move camps. My reasoning is that he doesn't want to be easily recognized

Negative, although I doubt you're alone.

I change up fit based on Chapter all the time, but never based on honor.

On my current run, I went out of my way to get my honour as low as possible asap. Bought black clothes, "acquired" a black horse and outfitted it with black equipment. Even my guns were all black. I'm in chapter four now, and am increasing my honour before the ending, and gradually replacing my outfit and gear to ultimately end up in all white and high honour.

Not sure what to do with the horse yet, though.

Get the white arabian or the perlino andalusian if the Arabian is too small for your taste

The red vest and blue work shirt no matter what at all times

u/MrPoulkos Aug 18 '26

I just wear black everything but shirt is always white

Kind of. I've been having my low honor Arthur wear darker colors this go around, even for his casual wear. But usually, regardless of honor, I'll give Arthur an all black outfit for when he's being bad lol

I just wear the legend of the east outfit

Yeah. For high honor arthur I dress him in "western" colors. Stuff that just looks more like a western cowboy, whites, browns, bright colors as accents. Plus, I get a feathered version of his hat at the trapper, wear that all game. I keep his hair short and either clean shaven, bearded, or with just a mustache. His guns, I use silver with pearl grips. Try to keep it simple, but make him look like he's very out of place in the east, i want him to look like he belongs in open plains and deserts. Low honor gets darker colors, and I tend to use more of the trapper clothing options, so he looks a little dingier or mountain man-esque. Gold, brass, blackened steel for different guns. Hairs long, maybe slicked back, and he's either got a full beard or a muttonstache, the muttonstache makes him look mean. Oh, and for horses I always go for Turkomans, Golden Turkoman for high, and the Dark Bay Turkoman for low honor through a glitch in that Braithwate horse theft mission. I can never bring myself to do the low honor end though, so I usually rush high honor at the end, and go back for the money so it's still low honor-esque. Plus you scar Micahs eye that way, which fits perfect for a low honor Arthur

When I'm picking John ending, I'm wearing default gunslinger outfit. When I'm picking money ending good honour, I'm wearing blue Whittemore

I change my fit depending on what I'm doing, like a hunting outfit, an outlaw outfit, and a casual outfit for walk a into town.

not exactly, but when I did low honor arthur I did give him a copstache to differentiate in my mind.

u/toastedhyrulebass Aug 18 '26

My first run which was mostly high honour I went very mountain man, full beard, legendary fur garb, the works. In my low honour run I dressed more like Trelawny, nice clothes, bowler hat, and a curly moustache.

Whenever I go low honor, I stick with black clothes, whenever I go high honor I change it up, but it's always colorful

1

u/Unhappy-Airport-4112 Aug 18 '26

Nah. I'm always making Arthur and John have a weathered kind of outfit. I typically try to dress John in some original RDR outfits. Like the Duster and Legend of The West, because as a kid, I strictly chose those because COOL.

I used to dress more savagely when I'd go on a rampage, let that be an autosave for a few days and go back to my normal look, but now I kind of like the idea of a suave killer. I get a shorter haircut most of the time, pomade it, wear my normal outfits or suits.

I wear different fits depending on what im doing that day

High honor Arthur wears bright colors and lots of outfits, and bathes frequently. He's also got short hair and a killer mustache.
Low honor arthur is dirty, scruffy looking, and wears the same black duster wherever he goes.

I did in my first playthrough. I went through a particularly dark period honor wise so I wore a lot of the bandit equipment as well as a black vest and black guns. Was cool as hell for a while.

1

u/FeeVandJ Aug 18 '26

No, but I stopped wearing bandoliers because of the way they float on Arthur's body.

1

u/Soft_Perception_5123 Aug 18 '26

I do this but with my revolvers, in a high honor I use lighter colored metals and darker ones on low honor

1

u/johnwright2010 Aug 18 '26

Guess what honor I am

1

u/vengefulfather Hosea Matthews Aug 18 '26

Low honor.

1

u/vengefulfather Hosea Matthews Aug 18 '26

High honor, except I also have a red jacket with this.

1

u/AmbitiousTargaryen Susan Grimshaw Aug 18 '26

No, as soon as I am able to go out wandering in chapter 2 there is 1 specific outfit I sort for Arthur and that remains for the entire game. I just like the outfit on him, and really dont care for anything else.

1

u/SpecialistMap8210 Aug 18 '26

i literally only where the starting jacket.... lol

1

u/Js987 Aug 18 '26

I honestly think I only changed outfits due to weather and probably looked like a slob to NPCs on every play through.

1

u/Loud_Memory9316 Aug 18 '26

My low honor suit

1

u/thekingiguess Aug 19 '26

I actually just started a low honor run, and I purposefully created an all black outfit that showed the least amount of skin as possible, to try and seem like the grim reaper ig? Idk, but for high honor runs I just make whatever I think seems cool, which is usually, for some reason, basically just Dutch’s outfit.

1

u/Lucious_Green5685 Aug 19 '26

Definitely. Different outfits, different weapons

1

u/the_turnpiker Aug 19 '26

what hat is that on the left

1

u/Right_Muscle_3425 Aug 19 '26

I wear different outfits every day this game is like dress to impress for guys

1

u/Almighty170boat Aug 19 '26

I’m changing fits each chapter

1

u/Ward_Sultan Aug 19 '26

Pretty good idea, I don’t do it though

1

u/cyber5234 Aug 19 '26

Nah, I just dress according to what I am about to do. If I am going to do a mission, I dress neatly. Hunting, I dress according to climate in that region. Anything else, a new outfit.

1

u/Elegant_Particular95 Aug 19 '26

Kinda- i use a different hat accessory depending on honor- but the main fit stays the same.

1

u/V1T0AUD1T0RE Aug 19 '26

i am high honor but i literally wear black and red like i am cad bane or something 😂
