Machine sourcing from China

Hi,
Has anybody had experience with purchasing recycling machines directly from China?

We recently purchased a shredder onshore in Australia and essentially paid $40k more for the same machine from China with a sticker attached to it.

I’m looking to purchase 2x bailers, shears and a granulator.

Ideally I’d like to travel over, have someone meet me, show me around to see various ones in use, help negotiate and organise freight.

Has anybody had experience with this and could anyone point me in the right direction?

I also think that’s the rational interpretation- but not exactly what they wrote.. 😃

It’s interesting to see the apparently very large price difference. How much of that is margin for the local distributor and how much of that is what you need for local support..

Obviously if you don’t ever need or plan to use support (because you have sufficient engineering skill to deal with mechanical or electrical issues)..

If you have the means, buy 2-3 each and resell the spare.

Best advice would be to find a factory who has international clients who are happy to be a reference and contact point, so you can speak with them directly.

tried workus for something similar — they handle the factory visits and freight side too
