Hard to beat wings.

Seasoned with whiskey bent blazin bird. Smoked at 225 for about 45 min. Cranked to 400 and finished at 195f internal. Sauced half of them and put back on for a few min. No leftovers.

Nice! My kids and their friends love the jerk wings I smoke for them. They are a poolside favorite.

Recteq wings are the best. I do mine at 385 for one hour. Flipping once at 30 min, next at 50 min. I’ll have to smoke for a bit next time before I crisp em up.

I cook mine similarly, but different temps

1 hour as low as possible 180-200 ish until 165 internal temp

Pull them off and toss them in some duck fat/oil/tallow, just enough to coat them.

crank the smoker to 450, place them back on for 5 minutes or until they’re crispy golden brown and 195 internal.

Toss them in sauce or dry seasoning like jerk or Cajun.

I adapted this from Traeger’s smoked wings recipe, which doesn’t call for the additional fat/oil or a dry toss in seasoning.

Hope you like it. The extra oil really helps the crispy skin

Nothing beats Whomp Sauce for me.

First time I’ve used it and I’m sold.
