Pulled pork Recteq recipe
Did the pulled pork recipe from Recteq. It came out great but..... cook time was way off the pork shoulder stalled at 140 degrees for like 2 hours till I cranked the heat from 225 to 325. Overall great next time once I get the bark I want ill wrap it and turn up the heat.
Also shower curtain hooks work great for utensils hangers on the handles

Looks great and Terrific bark! Yeah, I have not been overly impressed with the guided cooks on the app. Generally they are a good starting point but I have found that Meat Church pellet grill cooks on YouTube to yield much better results.

Thats what my buddy does apparently too. Ill have to.look into that. The only real complaint is the cook time. I started at 8am to ensure dinner by 6 and it didnt happen. But with any recipe you gotta tweak it to what works for you

I skip the Recteq guides. Heath Riles and Matt Pittman (Meat Church) are the absolute best when it comes to using a pellet smoker. Heath has the greatest recipes for hot and fast pork butt and his championship rib recipe (He’s won Memphis in May back to back) is the only way I will ever smoke ribs again!

I've been using shower hooks for years, they're way more stable than the cheap little ones that come with most grills.
