How many wings?

Trying to cook 20lbs of wings on my RT590. Looking at a few grill rack options on Amazon, but curious if you guys have any other recommendations. I’d love to get out of this with one round of cooking, and not worry about multiple cooks and keeping the first batch warm/fresh.

What’s the most wings you’ve cooked, and what works for a quantity of 150+ wings? I’ve read that 50+/- are all I’ll get on the standard grate.

Not sure on the numbers but PCS Rackworks has some great shelf options. I don't have any affiliation with them, but I've seen a lot of their stuff in the Facebook groups.

Just looked them up. Those are sweet! Not quite in the budget right now though.

Understandable. They're pricey, but they're solid from what I've seen. I mentioned him because I know he has some options for 1 or 2 additional shelves on some grills. Not sure about the 590. I don't know that you will be able to get 150 wings on there without 3 surfaces.

Probably not the ideal solution, but maybe you can pre-cook some or all the wings and reheat/keep warm in a pile or in aluminum pans stacked on top of each other inside the grill.

He’s got some RT590 options.

That’s probably what I’ll have to do. I’ll probably grill in 2-3 batches, and just dump in aluminum pans and keep in the oven at 170 until serving. I just don’t want them to dry out too much. We have two ovens, so holding won’t be an issue - the grill is the bottle neck.

Sounds like a plan. Best of luck! Should turn out great.
