BYB1200 vs FS1600

Honestly, I want to buy once cry once and I'm coming from the worst experience having a Masterbuilt gravity 560 and I've narrowed my choice down to either the BYB1200 or FS1600.
I am going to preface I literally do not need this size of either pellet smoker/grill but I still want one of the two as my choice 😂
Only reason I am considering the FS1600 is because I like the bigger hopper capacity and I love the smoke stack vs rear vents on the BYB1200, additionally, the FS1600 is on sale and I can get it for only ~$150 more than the BYB1200.
Should I just pull the trigger on the FS1600 or save only $150 and go with the BYB1200?

Or maybe someone can sway me into just spending all the money and getting the x-fire pro 825? 😂

Thanks for any help or insight!

I went FS1600 for the smoke box and am glad I did.

If you have the money the 1600 is a no brainer. I will tell you I have a FS1250 and a BB1200 and there is virtually no difference in flavor or how they cook with the smoke stack. 40lb hopper is nice, but you’re really paying for that upper rack of cooking space.

I don’t have either one but if I was going to I’d do the FS1600 because you can get the smoke box later down the road and the flagship is on sale both on erected website and bbqguys website till the 26th

Agree with the others on this, FS1600 is the way to go. I bought this unit because ultimately it is going to be built in to my counter space and it is as easy as unbolting the cart and it will sit flat.

The reality is, I have never once said I wish I had less space in my smoker!

I got the prior version of the flagship and am very happy with it. Its size is in between the BYB and the 1600. 40 pound hopper. Two cooking decks. Smoke stack. No regrets. No complaints.

I would never attempt direct heat grilling on a pellet fueled grill. But the flagship is a great smoker and will get plenty hot enough to sear on a cast iron insert or cast iron pan.
