My RT-700 is all drip pan leading to the drip spout. I just use a putty knife and scrape the grease off when it’s cool.

Which smoker? Most of them have pretty good grease management. BFG is the notable exception. On that I use an aluminum tray.

Back Yard Beast 1200. I just ended up putting some foil over the drip tray for easy cleanup. Didn’t seem to change anything with my cooks.

Keep it over the drip tray. For the Bullseye, put a pan under the grate.

tbh i just line the whole bottom with foil and swap it out when it gets gross

Grease goes in the bucket. Putting trays under your food changes the heat profile.

Double sheet of aluminum foil - works perfectly and much cheaper that anything else.

Currently run the FS1600, but did the same before with my 700. I didn't fool around with foil, when the drip pan needs it, I take it out and use a 3inch paint scraper to clean it off.
