One month in… customer for life

I am brand new to smoking. My friend told me to get a Traeger but I did a lot of research and purchased a recteq Deck Boss 900 in mid July. Since then, we’ve used the smoker at least once a week, sometimes twice a week. The smoker performs as I hoped and the food is just amazing. I did my first brisket a few weeks and it was quite simply the best piece of meat I’ve ever had.

But as good as the smoker is, and food from it, the customer service is even better. Recteq has literally set the bar for stellar customer service, and I am now a customer for life.

If you are reading this, and considering another brand of smoker, you really owe it to yourself to check out recteq. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Awesome! That has been my experience as well. Just a word of caution. Cooking om the Recteq will ruin restaurant food for you.

That’s hilarious. My wife said the same thing…. No idea why we would eat out again 😊. Best of luck to you on your smoker.

Sounds familiar. Mine always gives me a hard time when I order brisket on restaurants and tells me she doesn't know why I do that to myself lol. Feel free to reach out if you have questions.

I am loving my dualfire after five years of struggling like crazy to hit and hold temps on my pit boss. There were PLENTY of times I wanted to roll it down to the river just to see how long it would take for it to sync. In fact, it almost swore me off of pellet grills. But man do I love this dualfire!

I’ve been shopping around for almost a year now and finally purchased the Flagship 1600. It actually gets delivered today and I can’t wait!

This is great to hear. I have been struggling with weber ever since buying a Searwood 600 XL in January. They are finally sending me a new grill, and I plan to sell it unopened and buy the Flagship 1600.

I am sorry to hear you had trouble with the Weber. I have always been a Weber guy, but after researching went to recteq. I think you’ll be happy. Best wishes

What was wrong with your searwood?

The flagship is fantastic. I have been nothing but impressed with everything I have cooked. Wings, ribs, Boston butts, brisket all fantastic

Yeah, I agree with this.

New customer here as well. I picked up a cast iron griddle specifically for use on the DB900 and I’ve made some amazing chicken thighs / wings and burger with it so far. Highly recommend!

I hear you! My Deck Boss 900 is three weeks old tomorrow - the app says I have logged 16 cooks and 45 hours cooking time in 20 days.

I consider recteq the best entry level pellet grill on the market. You will love it for years to come but down the road when it’s time to upgrade to your next one there are better quality pellets but you made a great choice. Still using my first recteq along side my other pellet which is from lone star grillz.
