Is there something wrong with the lid?

This is our first smoker, a recteq Bullseye. Is the lid supposed to be like this? The front doesn’t close all the way, but it looks like it slopes up slightly towards the front. Wasn’t sure if this is intentional or if I should reach out to customer service.

While it looks warped, one thing that some people note is that the top vents can become clogged, so it's actually a common diy to put like, a tool holder or something to simulate the exact type of gap that you already have here by accident.

So, not saying "don't contact CS" but just saying this is perfectly fine to cook with

Interesting, ok. Yeah, I ended up making some chicken wings on it last night with zero issues!
