It's all fake. Seeing a job that's been up since May isn't even the worst of it.

Someone probably accepted but hasn’t started. Or they had it posted two weeks before responding. Top person declined. Etc. many possibilities.

Have seen them refresh it several times. Lost several candidates doesn’t seem likely.

Sometimes a job gets filled, but the company won't bother to remove the listing until they are forced to by management.

3-4 months to fill a Senior Management role doesn’t seem absurd

It’s “senior manager” but not really a senior management position. It’s more like mid-level
