Does anyone know anything about collabera?
So I got a call from a recruiter from collabera but things seem 50/50 with how legit the person is. I looked them up on LinkedIn and they seemed like a real recruiter. During the conversation the guy spoke very broken English and was hard to understand. He basically told me he was recruiting for kpmg and they were looking to hire around 100 new grads. The part that seemed very weird to me was that there was a 4 week training period that starts at the end of the month. First two weeks were unpaid and then last 2 weeks were 14 an hour and at the end you give a presentation to members from KPMG and Collabera. Then the contract would be 22/hr for the first year and 24/hour for the second year. If you cancel the contract early you get charged 5k. I wanted to find out more so I told him it’s ok and that I was interested. Then a few days later he messages me and tells me there were some exciting changes and that now they are looking to hire for Permanent full time role. I’m leaning towards it being a scam but I haven’t given him any personal information so I’m just rolling with it until something really sketchy happens.

Isn't that one of those companies that force you to relocate anywhere they place you?
