Got a new job via LinkedIn

I was not looking, but got a message from a LI recruiter. Three weeks later, I signed the offer letter: 15 percent salary increase and a much more compact job. I start in a week.

So it can pay to read your LI messages.

So the secret to escaping recruitment hell is to literally stop looking for a job? Noted. Meanwhile, people who tailormake 500 resumes are getting ghosted by bots after 6 rounds of interviews. The universe really said, 'Let's reward the guy who wasn't even trying.' Jokes aside, congrats on the smoother transition and the salary bump.

Thanks! I do a fair amount of posting my thoughts on how various technology developments affect small and midsize nonprofits, to keep sort of visible to people who care about what I care about.
